The villa was a nice peaceful place to stay. A good size with good facilities and good location. Only a 10-15 walk to the beach which is a nice sandy beach. You will get the odd seller trying to sell you large tablecloth like blankets, I did get one in the end as fitted all 3 of our towels on. The beach bar at the end sold the best cheese toasties 😂 and nice frozen glasses with your beer . In the evenings if you take a short walk to the harbour, there is a market on once or twice a week. When the market isn't on there are still shop with your designer fragrances/ clothes. There are nice restaurants / bars to choose from overlooking the harbour. If you go to the other end of the beach you will fine lots of restaurants and the prices are very reasonable vs the harbour side. There are a lot of taxis which cost about €3 to the villa - its quite busy at the taxi rank in the evening going back. Not really many negatives =Only reason I didn't give it 5* was the pool guy came once when the cover was over the pool tested and left but the pool had evaporated a lot with the level dropping . There is a hosepipe on the roof of the villa so we filled it back up. **I would RECOMMEND taking a ant trap/powder. I'm not sure what they were as they were tiny little things that seem to appear with food out (only in the kitchen) TIP- if you buy bread etc use the microwave to store your food in and they won't appear - I realising this leaving nothing out - clean up straight away! You will be fine. The pool looks bigger than it is due to the pool has a seating shelf with foot rest all around the pool so perfect for sitting in but not if you wanted to swim, little kids will be fine. ***None of the above would put me off going here again***
