Nice and neat hotel tucked away just behind the ferry port of Piraeus. It is very close, walkable to Ferry port E9 and E10. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and well organized. The staff are fantastic; welcoming, polite and helpful. The main reason for the 5 stars. Our room, like the hotel, was clean, tidy and enough space. The bed was firm which works for us. The bathroom is large enough for one person, the water pressure is great. I really enjoyed staying a the Filson hotel.

Clean, simple hotel that is only a few minutes from the port (we were catching a ferry the next day). We could hear some noise from our hotel room (the elevator bell, other guests in the hallway etc.) which was a little disruptive, but for one night this wasn’t too much of a problem. We accidentally left some clothing behind in our rush to pack early in the morning - we messaged the hotel and they kindly kept this in a bag at reception ready for us to collect on our return to Athens a few days later which we really appreciated.

Buenísima opción para pernoctar tanto a la hora de coger tu ferry como cuando regreses al Pireo en ferry. Habitación limpia con muy buena presión en la ducha. Mobiliario moderno y bien cuidado. El servicio gratuito de transporte hasta el puerto para enlazar con tu ferry es una maravilla que facilita todo. Nos ofrecieron una habitación superior a la contratada sin sobre coste. Dimitri de recepción es maravilloso y muy simpático. Buena limpieza. Ofrecen teléfono gratuito para llamadas internacionales, pero nosotros no lo usamos. Recomendable coger un taxi desde la estación de metro del Pireo hasta el hotel. Ya que son 20 minutos andando. Sobre todo si llevas mucho equipaje. La habitación es un poco pequeña, pero para enlace es más que suficiente.

We had the exceptional experience of staying at The Alex - Monte Kastella at the beginning of May. We chose this hotel due to its convenient location near the Ferry Port (20 minutes away). Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm reception and a refreshing cold drink after our journey from the airport. Our room was lovely with great blackout curtains, with a very comfortable bed and extra pillows, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. After settling in, we headed upstairs to the amazing terrace restaurant and bar, where breakfast is also served, including delicious made-to-order omelettes. The food was outstanding, and the Greek white wine recommended to accompany our meal was perfect. I had the grilled fish and potatoes, and the dessert was Michelin-star worthy. It was a shame we were there only for one night, but we will definitely be back. This little gem near Athens is a perfect stop if you're heading to the port. We'll book it again for sure, see you next year!

Siempre vamos a este hotel cuando regresamos de vacaciones de las islas. Me parece estupendo en todos los sentidos. Habitaciones, piscina , gimnasio vistas de la terraza, desayuno, personal de recepción y maletas siempre genial. Pero esta vez, y me sabe mal la crítica nos quedamos a cenar en el restaurante al lado de la piscina y me pareció una carta corta ( eso no es del todo malo) pero si unos platos de calidad media por el precio( la tagliata de wayu y el salmón grille de calidad de restaurante medio bajo pese a costar 35€). Pedimos los dips de pan estaban buenos pero pedimos también pan normal y la sorpresa fue que en el restaurante de un hotel de 5 estrellas nos digan que no tienen!! En el desayuno hay un montón, es curioso. Por lo demás volveré seguro y lo recomiendo. Es una crítica positiva para mejorar la experiencia. El personal del restaurante atento y amable .

Me gustó la ubicación porque era tranquila y no era una zona turística ruidosa. Pude visitar las principales atracciones turísticas a pie. Incluso la estación de metro estaba cerca. Había deliciosos restaurantes de brunch, una lavandería que funciona con monedas y un supermercado cerca, por lo que era cómodo de usar. Este es un lugar que me gustaría recomendar. Siempre podía tomar un delicioso café.

De service was super 👍 De receptiemedewerkers waren stuk voor stuk zeer vriendelijk, meedenkend en servicegericht. Helaas waren het zwembad en de Spa niet in gebruik Ivm verbouwing. Van de Spa wisten we dat, het binnenbad zou echter open zijn. Dat was een tegenvaller voor ons, hadden het hotel hier speciaal op uitgezocht. Maar de aangeboden oplossing (gratis gebruik van taxi of fiets) maakte dit voor 95% goed. We hebben heel lekker gegeten, het was n beetje jammer dat we de enige gasten waren.

This is an extremely nice hotel situated in a perfect location. Our stay and review are based on a Superior room You would be hard pressed to find an Athens hotel in a better location. You are right in the middle of all the action with shops and restaurants nearby. You are spoilt for choice. Although in a busy area we found the excellent double- glazed doors/windows kept any noises out and it was not an issue at all. Our Superior room came with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities although that is not listed on their website. It may be worth e-mailing them if this is important to you. There was air-con but in March there was no need to make use of it so we cannot comment on its efficiency. The toilet/bathroom came with those tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash which we refuse to use on environmental grounds so we brought our own and used that. There was a sign saying that if the used towels were hung up then it was assumed that we were happy to reuse them. The cleaners replaced them daily regardless. The rooms were kept very clean. This hotel has much going for it. We grabbed a deal here at a very attractive price which included breakfast. The breakfast arrangements were in a fairly small area but we felt that a good selection was provided considering the space limitations. Plenty of fresh vegetable choices and delicious too. The Tomatoes and Cucumber just tasted so much better than we are used to. Cereals, bread, cakes, fruit and coffee from a machine. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning and didn’t grow tired of it. Minor gripes (being very picky). The over the bath shower was a mini battle in so much that it was prone to shoot water out onto the floor if you weren’t being careful. It could have been better but all we had to do was to adjust our showering habits and all was ok in the end. Our room had a balcony facing out to the street below. It would have been nice for a couple of chairs out there rather than just a large pot plant and the air-con unit for company. I did notice that no other balconies on other building had chairs out so perhaps that is just the Athens way. We had a Fridge in our room. Very welcome. A very close mini supermarket was the cheapest place we could find to buy water. E0.39 for 1.5 litres as I recall. We loved this hotel. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t remember all of their names but Irena and Eva come to mind. They helped make our stay wonderful. It had a curiously homely feel about the place. March time was a great time of the year as it was a pleasant day time temperature with it getting a bit chilly in the evenings. You could still dine outdoors but with a patio heater nearby. We loved Athens and have decided to return next March with the flights already booked. We will stay at the Plaka Hotel again. 5 stars from us

Esta vez Atenas ha elegido en O&O cinco estrellas para decir primero el índice de recomendación! La existencia de una super sorpresa, ¡la primera opción de Atenas de O&O y confort es aún más barata! La ubicación del hotel no está en la ciudad griega, a Wayne o a Sheikh probablemente busquen alrededor de 40 minutos a 40 euros. Se recomienda que quieran jugar en el centro de la ciudad y pongan el viaje en un día. De lo contrario, el viaje al aeropuerto es probablemente alrededor de 30-40mins, pero el hotel ¡Las calles comerciales están cerca de 5 minutos de autobús y las tiendas de hoteles no tienen que preocuparse de que se enfade! Mi tipo de habitación es el precio de la cama marina grande por noche es de aproximadamente 650 kilos. Hay un descuento para vivir tres noches! ¡La comunicación con el hotel y el correo antes de ir a la estación de memoria es un día de memoria! ¡Una vez que entramos al hotel, cada empleado le dirá que el feliz aniversario es realmente super caliente! ¿Puede ser demasiado tarde después de llegar al hotel??Sin camas grandes, hay camas dobles ➕ Acabamos de mejorar el día de memoria para mejorarnos a 1500 kilómetros por noche! ¡Cualquier tipo de habitación tiene un pequeño administrador individual cuando se queda! ¡Conecte con whagsapp cualquier necesidad de enviar un mensaje directamente, ¡tentemos que hacerlo! Este tipo de habitación es similar a una pequeña villa en el patio. Cada habitación tiene su propia piscina, pero cuando fui, el agua es fría y no puedo nadar. ¡Salir a cenar el día del aniversario y volver a la casa es una sorpresa para prepararnos la torta del aniversario, el champán y el honro son hermosos! ¡El paisaje es realmente super hermoso! ¡Por cierto, ¡veré a Kea Island O&O abriendo la puerta antes de comienzos de abril!
