«Todo fantástico. Alojamiento muy bonito, muy limpio y muy bien ubicado (cerca de todos los puntos de interés y a la vez en una calle tranquila). Además, está muy cerca de la salida por la muralla, con lo cual es muy práctico para entrar y salir con mochilas/maletas, ya que dentro de la muralla no entran buses ni taxis. La familia del alojamiento es súper atenta y como obsequio, solamente llegar, te dan agua fría y te acercan a la estación el día que te vas. Muy recomendable, 10/10!»

«La ubicación del hostal es ideal. En pleno centro histórico de Pingyao, en una de las calles principales. Se tardan 10 minutos caminando desde la muralla donde te deja el taxi. La habitación era tal como se ve en las fotos, con un ambiente moderno y sencillo. La cama era grande y aunque era un poco dura se dormía bien. El baño está reformado y es agradable. Las chicas que nos han atendido son muy simpáticas y nos ayudaron con todo lo que pudieron. La limpieza de sábanas y la zona de dormir era muy buena , pero en el baño había bastantes pelos de otros huéspedes en el suelo... y la habitación aún y ser para no fumadores tenía un olor a tabaco un tanto desagradable al entrar. La experiencia en general ha sido buena , y es buena opción calidad -precio de la zona.»

«Hotel muy bien situado, cerca de las principales actividades de la ciudad. El estilo tradicional chino le da mucho encanto y el ambiente es muy familiar. El personal fue muy atento, nos facilitaron todo lo que necesitamos y además hablan muy bien inglés, lo que hizo la estancia mucho más cómoda. Como punto negativo, permiten fumar en las habitaciones. La primera que nos dieron olía a tabaco, aunque nos la cambiaron rápidamente sin ningún problema. En general, una experiencia positiva y recomendable, sobre todo por la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal.»

«Más que un hotel me hicieron sentir como en casa. Fuimos en nuestra luna de miel y nos decoraron la habitación. La habitación es grande, mejor aún de lo que se muestra aquí. Nos dejaron fruta nada más llegar y nos subieron el desayuno a la habitación a la hora que quisimos. También nos gestionaron la recogida y traslado a la estación de tren gratuitamente. Aunque la habitación era más que perfecta, lo que más nos gustó fue la atención que nos brindaron, en especial a la chica (se me olvidó preguntarle en nombre) ya que era servicial, simpática y super amable. Al hacer el checkout nos hicieron un regalo.»

Every brick and stone tells a story. Every street and alley narrates tales of the past and present. Kang Qian Ji Mansion is located at No. 33, Chang Xiang Street, within the ancient city of Pingyao. It was constructed in 1838 during the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. Currently, it is a county-level cultural heritage site. It was originally the residence of Wang Jin-ting, the manager of the Pingyao Tiancheng Heng Bank’s Hankou branch. Wang Jin-ting (1859–1938), whose full name was Quan Yi and whose courtesy name was Jin-ting, was from the village of Xi Zhang Zhao in Pingyao. In his youth, he worked in the Tiancheng Heng Bank. After the bank’s collapse, he was recommended by Lu Rongting, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, to serve as an assistant manager at the Guangxi Bank. In 1924, Wang Jin-ting purchased the residence at No. 33 Chang Xiang Street in Pingyao’s ancient city, which had originally been a government residence. The courtyard’s floor plan features a pair of phoenixes spreading their wings, with the phoenix facing the grain market and its tail extending over the Helaoxian Bridge, symbolizing vitality and auspiciousness. The courtyard has weathered the passage of time, and with the changes in society, it was acquired by Kang Qian Ji Catering Company in 2025. We uphold the “Deren” principle of the Jin merchants, striving to restore and maintain the original state of the courtyard. The courtyard’s brick carvings of the麒麟 delivering children symbolize the owner’s dedication to preserving the Jin merchant culture and their best wishes for the guests. The wooden carvings of the phoenix and dragon support the pillars, showcasing the courtyard’s grandeur and elegance. Additionally, we have incorporated environmental and humanistic sciences to adopt a modern, luxurious style within the rooms, equipped with smart guest control systems, custom-made bathrooms, and ergonomically designed memory foam bedding and mattresses. The mansion has been transformed into a masterpiece that seamlessly blends ancient craftsmanship with modern technology. After a century of existence, the ancient courtyard has been reborn as the “Kang Qian Ji Mansion.” We respect the original appearance of the cultural relics, preserving the principle of “etiquette” and emphasizing rectitude, with a strong vertical axis and balanced symmetry in the architectural style. "Grand Opera Hall guest house" is the Jin Merchants' Club 300 years ago. The name of Grand Opera Hall was inscribed by Mr. Qigong, a great master of Chinese culture . The Grand Opera Hall guest house is located at the Nine Dragons of Pingyao ancient city, with Confucian temple and God of wealth temple in the west, Kuixing tower in the South and ancient city wall in the East. It was built in 1703, the 42nd year of Kangxi. In order to welcome the emperor to visit the west, four big buildings and music hall were built. In the 26th year of Guangxu, Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu traveled to the west to enjoy the opera and stayed in the Grand Opera Hall.
There are 33 high-end guest rooms in the Grand Theater Hall, which are divided into luxury Kang, luxury standard room and luxury dragon bed.
