Mangosteen Ayurveda & Wellness Resort

We went with the all inclusive package of meals, yoga and spa treatments and were not disappointed. The grounds and pool are were excellent to relax in between sessions. The spa staff and yoga instructors were all very attentive. Overall it was an excellent experience and we would recommend to friends and family.

This is a very unique resort, which is small enough to make you feel totally at peace and relaxed. Excellent Dr for Ayurvedic medicine, excellent food and spa treatments. it really is faultless for taking care of you and making you feel at home. And the staff - many of whom have worked there for more than a decade - make it feel like a family. This is in no small part due to the fact that the owners of the resort, Hayo and Rose have lovingly created this resort and run it as a family - their daughter currently managing whilst the couple currently on a break. You can get better rates May onwards which is rainy season - and that is relative. In March/April it is hot (32-38 when I was there). But it is always comfortable with sea breezes and access to the lovely infinity pool. I was also at the resort in December when it is a little cooler and the sea is clearer. If you are a Yoga fan you will probably enjoy the resort also (not if you are a beginner though, its the only area where I feel few classes that I could do). There is also a great Reiki teacher there and a fantastic yoga/meditation lead, Kirstin. You can learn a lot about your body and your soul at this resort. And it is a very compfortable experience as a solo traveller as there are many others travelling this way and very global. If coming from the UK I recommend the direct Tui flights which are surprisingly comfortable. Allow an hour transfer from the airport to the resort each way and a pick up is arranged by the resort.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. We loved everything and can highly recommend it to others. It offers great service, delicious food, and spacious rooms. It's a relatively small resort, which we loved. It has a lovely 'family' vibe.

Just like last year, it was a great and helpful experience. The resort and the bungalows are very well organized and beautiful. All the staff from reception to the cleaners are super friendly and helpful. Special kudos to the restaurant staff and especially Dr. Nezeem (a great Aryuveda doctor and always friendly and accommodating) and Sagar (wellness coordinator and yoga teacher) and Ajith (Ayurveda Therapist). A great experience to get the body (and mind) back into balance ... combined with weight loss WITHOUT starving ;-)

We did a yoga package and loved it. The pool area especially was perfect with nice cool water, and plenty of space to enjoy privacy. It can sometimes be a bit noisy bc of traffic because, well, it's still Phuket. Sometimes the yoga itinerary is not really clear so just double check that. However, the quality of the classes is superb and you will not regret it.

My wife and I wanted to do 2 things: have a relaxing beach vacation in Thailand and do a 2-week Panchakarma treatment somewhere in India or Sri Lanka. We were happy to find a place where both things can be done at the same time - Mangosteen was the answer. The place is beautiful and very peaceful. Large 2 or 1–story building are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and lovely pools. The Aurvedic spa has a trained doctor and several Ayurvedic massage therapists. The restaurant and the kitchen can serve regular food for guests who don't do Aurveda and the one needed for treatments. The staff is super polite, friendly and helpful, service is great. There's a shuttle running to the beach every hour starting from 9am - it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the Nai Harn beach, one of the prettiest on Phuket. Overall, we had a great time. Special thanks to Dr. Nezeem, therapists Bindhu, Anu and A, and Num and Mook from the kitchen.

This was our 5th visit but had not come for 4 years due to COVID. The place was just as amazing as usual with the staff as friendly as ever. Signing up to Mangosteen Club in 2017 was one of the best investments ever made and we look forward to returning again in the future.

What a wonderful retreat! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food and service amazing, a beautiful pool and great yoga classes! The staff go out of their way to ensure everyone has a good experience. Spa services were lovely, the staff very professional. Shuttle service to the beach and market was very convenient. I would highly recommend a stay here!
