We stayed at Movenpick for 9 nights in the pool access room. The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. It’s the shame that there was only one sun bed at the balcony so we couldn’t lay down and chillax by the pool at the same time. However, we got our own jacuzzi but it didn’t work for the last couple day before we leave. The pool was beautiful and good size. Housekeepers didn’t do their good job. The room wasn’t clean enough when we were there but it’s not a big deal. They were really helpful and polite when we needed help. One day when we was back from our day trip in the evening and found out the housekeeper forgot to close the door at our balcony. Luckily, no one got in our room from the pool. Air-conditioning worked really good when the weather was humid and hot outside. Breakfast was pricey and less choices. Taste was alright. We ate there once and didn’t like it at all. At night, the lobby and in front of our room were stinky. There was a poor management of the sewage. This should be improved immediately because this is a 5 star hotel not a hostel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Movenpick and will stay here again when we visit Phuket.

This is by far the most beautiful hotel I have been to apart from the Padma ubud in Bali.
The staff are amazing, breakfast is legitimately enticing and delicious.
Rooms are great, softest bed I have ever slept on in any hotel. Around the world.

I was traveling alone for my holiday. Choose Mövenpick and was not disappointed. Stuff is so polite and was trying to help with everything. Hotel has no territory but swimming pool is big enough and beautiful with a bar with drinks. Breakfast with many choices of food and drinks so good. Room and bed are so comfortable, towels are white and fresh changing every day. I will come back again.

The room was quite spacious and the bed was huge. Could fit us 3 comfortably (me and my 2 grown kids). Good location! Lots of restaurants and there was a 7-11 just right outside.
Only downside is the soundproofing of the rooms. In the night, u get drunk hotel guests laughing, talking and singing when they return to their rooms. I guess it comes with the price of the hotel room, hence u get cheap inconsiderate guests. And in the morning, u get babies crying as early as the sun rises. Well I’m sorry I’m on a holiday, not on a bootcamp, not everyone on holiday wants to wake up super early 🙄
Did the right thing for us all. Forfeited our 2 extra nights which I have already paid for and moved to another hotel. Didn’t regret it at all though I had high hopes for movenpick. Or maybe I was just unlucky

The room we were assigned was spacious with a nice view. All rooms are pool-facing in this hotel. Breakfast can give it a miss.
