Smelly, stuffy, extremely noisy, plumming issues, no english speaker staff, location full of ***********. Never coming back

Orchid Resortel turned out to be a really nice place. Everything in the room was a little old but very clean and nothing was broken. The room itself was spacious with a small balcony. There was a bathtub and a big fridge in my room too. The staff is friendly and welcoming, proper cleaning and changing towels was done daily. The bed was very comfortable, not too soft but not hard at all and they have great pillows - soft and big; good bed sheets, too. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and free luggage storage. Their restaurant is open around the clock too; I ate there only twice but the food was good. The safe in the room was big enough to fit in even a laptop. The location is right in the heart of Patong next to Bangla street with lots of different restaurants, pharmacies, travel agencies and small shops around. A 7/11 store is right next to the hotel entrance. JungCeylon shopping mall is just a five minutes walk away and it takes around ten minutes to get to Patong beach by foot. If you want to take Smartbus to go to other parts of the island, bus stops are very close to the hotel. The main problem of this place is noise though: you can hear music from the street, motorcycles and people shouting and laughing outside all night long. But I was ready for that. This street gets quiet only by 6 -6:30 am (and not for long!) I could sleep only with earplugs, so if you are a light sleeper look for another hotel. The pool on the roof is very nice and clean but super small. Even though this is not the most beautiful street in Phuket, but it is convenient to stay here because it is so close to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

Best location in patong

這個價位的住宿條件整體馬馬虎虎。這次是第二次入住，目的就是圖個熟悉、方便、省心，酒店座入在酒吧街對面，吃、玩、行都挺方便的，省的多跑路與花車費。這次住的房間是這家酒店的豪華房，房間面向裏面與大海，基本上24小時沒有吵鬧聲音，很好。上次住的普通房，面朝馬路，摩託車與汽車聲，外加小販吆喝聲做生意，晚上到凌晨五點幾乎聲音不斷，整個24小時幾乎沒有安靜的時分。 另外，在此想説一些話，其實很多旅各住酒店意見普遍較大，原因無非是空調問題、洗澡水問題、床上用品衞生問題、沒有配置牙刷牙膏問題、打掃衞生不夠主動問題、房間有蟲與蚊子問題等等。我想説的住二百元左右／天房間（特別是地段好的）能滿足你的胃口嗎？一分價錢一份貸，你去住二千元左右／天以上的酒店這些問題應該不太會有吧，即使有些人還會挑剔，那應該是在擺譜。反正我們想要求住什麼樣條件的酒店就應該準備付出什麼樣代價，不要錢不捨得花，要求還特別髙，不要有不切實際的要求。我經常住頂級酒店，也時常住小民宿與普通小酒店，原因是我一個人旅遊就隨便住低價的，夫妻一起就住好的。但我的心態與對每家住宿是持平衡的，也因此我從不向任何酒店提任何點滴意見。
