La Chronique est un hotel boutique situé dans un quartier très agréable de Phnom Penh. Nous y avons passé 3 jours, ma conjointe et moi. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons senti l'accueil chaleureux et professionnel de la part de tout le personnel. L'endroit est très propre, calme, silencieux et offre une grande zénitude. Nous avions choisi une petite chambre très confortable, avec un petit balcon mais la salle de bain était vraiment géniale. La Chronique est à quelques rues du marché russe mais également à quelques pas de nombreux petits cafés et restaurants très sympathiques. Ce quartier nous met un peu à l'abri de l'agitation de certains quartiers où le tourisme devient trop envahissant. Un gros merci à tout le personnel et en particulier à Vatha à l'accueil, qui nous a donné de précieux conseils. Nous recommandons cette hotel sans aucune hésitation.

Lovely hotel. We were on the 3rd floor . Views were great. Side window looking towards the Emerald building. Watched huge bees visiting the flowers next to window. Unfortunately we had to be moved to 2nd floor as no wi-fi on 3rd floor. We had a pillar at side of bed. Staff were lovely and helpful. We never had breakfast at hotel, so can’t comment on that. Bed was very comfortable.

We have had a lovely stay at La Chronique. All the facilities they have to offer have been first class. Nothing has been too much trouble. I would especially like to mention Vatha on reception. He has helped us with arranging transport, sightseeing and even my laundry. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great hotel close to lots of good restaurants and Pub street. The staffs are really friendly, helpful and amazing, especially Watta, who was really very helpful and very accomodating. Definitely worth the visit. The hotel is clean, bed is very comfortable

the best value hotel in town, very friendly staff, one block to go Russian market, food and restaurants nearby with many choices, super recommended.

I will definitely be staying here again! Great location, close to everything. French inspired there throughout. The staff are the most amazing part! So friendly and helpful! The rooms are a great size, ensuite included, tv, safe, desk, queen size bed and the aircon is fantastic.

Everything was exceptional during my 10-day stay at La Chronique. Location is great, but I want focus on the facilities and staff. The hotel is small and very charming with the feel of early 20th century French colonial design and decor. The quiet rooms and the second-floor lobby all lend to one feeling like they've stepped back in time. Staff could not have been more helpful--super attentive to every need. Towels, linens, pillows all great, and the mattress was very comfortable! Two important tips: 1. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible. The lobby is a walk-up from the street, and once inside you find an elevator to access the three floors above with rooms. So one has to walk those steps each day coming and going. Second, I stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony, which sounds great until you realize it faces an unattractive building across an alley, is not large (about 10 feet wide and extending out only 2 feet...just enough for a small table and two chairs). Most if not all of the rooms are on the small side, and my queen-size bed had only about 6 inches on either side--not enough to really access that way, I always had to climb in from the foot of the bed. A friend had the adjacent room with a king-sized bed and ample room on both sides--the only difference being that room didn't have a balcony. All the balconies take away from room size, quant as they are, and probably only the third floor was high enough to see out any distance. I never used my balcony due to its small size, limited view, and the fact that that side faces the south so it's hot out there most days. On the plus side, the rooms have full windows across that whole outside wall. PS, the shower is outstanding, as other reviews have mentioned, and there are a couple of great meeting rooms for business or small gatherings.

Excellent service

This remain my most preferred hotel in Phnom Penh, it feels like home every time I checked-in. All the service crew are very welcoming and warm. The La Chronique cafe serves very good food, I often settled all my meals there when running on tight schedule.

The hotel was perfect. Not the cheapest in PP but still cheaper than the big names and it was great value. Room was small but I didn't mind as a solo traveller. It was quiet, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Comfortable queen bed. I really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings having a drink and eating dinner. Staff also deserve a mention, they were all great. Especially the manager, Watar (probably butchering the spelling sorry), who was professional but friendly and he always had a cheeky when I saw him in the lobby.

This charming boutique hotel is an oasis amongst the bustling streets surround it. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and every detail has been taken care of right down to a bespoke shaving kit for guests who may have forgotten something. The bathrooms have fluffy white luxurious towels and very high end soaps and shampoos. Large flat screen smart TV and excellent lighting. The restaurant provides good food but has stiff competition from neighbouring restaurants so urge them to get their steaks cooked to perfection. Then there are then most wonderful staff. They are amazing, work long hours and always smiling and willing to help. What a great team they have. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and that is a welcome change. A fantastic stay

La Chronique is gracious and lovely. The hotel has a cool French/Cambodian vibe. The rooms are very nice. The adjoining café is a lovely place for breakfast. The location is great for local restaurants and even an evening Massage next door. Staff is wonderful and helpful. I would return in a heartbeat, and look no further for a hotel in Phnom Penh.
