Great place to stay clean room and great location close to station. Pub is great

還是比較滿意的住宿，因為朋友家在hurstville，於是定了這邊。 樓下有酒吧和 ***等。 出門不遠就是火車站，房間不大 但是還算乾淨 床也很軟。不到600的價格 還有免費停車，還是很有性價比

The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. Bathroom was large but nowhere to put toiletries. We stayed on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. After going to bed on the first night, after about 10 minutes there was a loud burring sound which lasted about 10 seconds. This kept happening about every 2 minutes. After trying various things we found it was coming from the air conditioner. Hubby reported it that night around 10.45. We were told we could not change rooms as they were fully booked but it would be reported and fixed the next day. We had to turn off air con resulting in a very uncomfortable sleep as it was so hot. On the Friday we asked about 4 different staff members if it would be fixed but were only told that it had been reported and that was after they checked on the computer to confirm this. Friday night the same thing happened so it was another very bad night. Asked the staff again and it was the same answer. Asked who the manager was and was told it was Monica. Saturday evening when we returned after being out all day "John" told us that it had not been looked at and that Monica did not work on week-ends. Why did she not attend to it on Friday morning then. Another bad night with the heat on Saturday meaning 3 nights in a row leaving us totally exhausted with a 4 hour drive back to where we live. "John" suggested that we request some sort of refund. If this is not the place to do this, please advise. We must be due for something

It was quite strange that we stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never made up our room, although we did not ever have the dnd sign on our door. Also, we found it a bit annoying that we booked to have a parking, only to find that it stays locked until 10 a.m. Or at least we were told so, two nights we parked outside to be able to leave earlier and it was not locked in the morning after all ... Good public transport connection and good, cheap eats around. Food in the hotel's beer garden not more than average. Aircon was super noisy in our room even when turned off, but at least the fuse was in the room so we could end the noise. Not the dripping of it, though ... The room was quite modern and clean. Checkout was sliding the keycard to the barkeeper through the locked door. Definitely a special place.

I spent a week at the Penshurst and all of the staff were ridiculously pleasant and helpful and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. My only suggestion to the owners would be to provide plates, cutlery and maybe even a microwave like most motels do. Even though there’s plenty of eating options in the area, sometimes a guest would prefer to eat in their room rather than go out every night. But overall, highly recommended. In fact, I’ve just booked another week!

We stayed at the Penshurst Hotel for 3 weeks, in 3 different rooms. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff were accommodating to our needs. There could be some improvements with the noisy air con, soft beds & limited reception hours, but we enjoyed our stay. Good value with the Bistro specials.

Arrived after 2pm to check in was told WiFi was down so they couldn't process payment and we would have to wait till whenever the WiFi came back up. I asked to speak to manager explained I had been up for over 24hours been to funeral and needed some sleep as need to meet family in a few hours was told nothing could be done I continued to advise not good enough. Another couple checking I told them to just let us up eventually they agreed went back down a few hours later and found payment had gone through Rebecca was very helpful as for theanagwr terrible service no hospitality skills do not stay here

It's close to the station, there are many restaurants, the room is clean, and the outside is quiet.
