En noviembre de 2025, me quedé aquí por unas noches, es una empresa familiar y la madre del dueño es normalmente la que cuida del lugar. Si bien los apartamentos están a una distancia caminable (2km) de la ciudad, se puede alquilar un scooter mucho mejor si se queda aquí. Los apartamentos son muy bonitos, pero no la mejor construcción. Puede ver muchos lugares donde las paredes de concreto están rompiendo. La TV en las habitaciones es muy pequeña y vieja, pero tienen un puerto HDMI para usar un adhesivo. La presión del agua es buena y el calefactor de agua caliente funciona.El baño es pequeño y todo está en una zona, así que se puede tomar el baño y todo en húmedo cuando ducha.

Primero nos dieron una habitación, pero al volver por la noche, el calentador de agua del baño estaba roto y había hormigas rojas por todas partes. I stayed at Luxury Farmhouse Pai for seven nights in December. The property itself is genuinely very nice — the setting is peaceful, the design is well done, the photos are accurate, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You do get what you pay for in terms of the physical space and overall presentation. Where it fell down for me was the guest experience over a longer stay as a solo traveller. A lot of things felt overly procedural rather than personal. For example, being given breakfast vouchers on check-in and needing to present them every morning felt unnecessary after several days. It’s not a major issue, but it does change how the place feels when you’re there for a week. Breakfast itself was fine but basic — fruit, rice porridge, toast, and eggs. Perfectly acceptable, just not especially memorable. I also had ongoing issues with the Wi-Fi in my room. When connected it was fast, but it dropped out frequently, and I often had to switch networks or hotspot from my phone. Payments for extras were another source of friction. Card payments weren’t accepted for things like laundry, there was no option to run a tab, and when paying cash they often didn’t have change. These are small operational details, but over seven nights they became frustrating. The biggest issue for me was the scooter rental the hotel partners with. They required either a passport or driving licence to be held, plus a large cash deposit. That’s not something I’m comfortable with, and it’s particularly disappointing given how important scooters are in Pai. I rented from another shop in town that only required a copy of ID and a deposit, which was much more reasonable. The hotel is walkable to Pai town (around 20 minutes), though a scooter is recommended. I also wasn’t informed in advance about the shuttle service from the bus station, which meant I walked in with luggage on arrival. There was also noticeable noise at night from nearby music, which did eventually stop. Overall, this is a well-run and attractive property, and I can see it being a great fit for couples or guests wanting space and privacy. For me as a solo traveller on a longer stay, it felt a little disconnected, and several small but important details took away from what could have been a much better experience.

Budget-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Pai (Walkable to Everything!) Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Location: 5/5 You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee. Value: 5/5 The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location. Rooms & Comfort: 3/5 The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic. Noise Level: 2/5 A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends. Overall Impression: If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options. Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples.

La mayoría de las cosas están bien. Me gusta que en el mostrador de facturación tengan plátanos grandes y naranjas para comer. La habitación está limpia, pero las aguas termales de la habitación no se pueden usar. La grande tampoco. Las pequeñas solo las usan extranjeros. No nos atrevimos a bañarnos en ellas. El desayuno es bueno. Está muy bien organizado. El aire de la mañana es muy refrescante.

Spacious and comfortable beds. Garden is big and catches the sun nicely. Very chilled hostel and not a party hostel at all. But still good to socialize on the balcony and garden.

La puerta debería ser de madera y no de cristal especial. El desayuno es bueno, pero cuando hay bufé, la variedad es mínima, solo apto para tailandeses (sin leche, sin fruta, sin carne), el café se sirve en una caja de cartón.

Excellent place for the price. It isn’t like some of the other places that are directly in town, but it’s like a 10 minute walk to get to the center of Pai. Kind staff and great amenities.
