Hoteles en Rotorua con aparcamiento

We stayed at Hana Lodge as a family group of five families, with ages ranging from 8 to 71 years old. One of the main reasons I chose Hana Lodge was because I wanted to experience the atmosphere of a grand country estate. I also noticed they offered a whole-house rental with a full kitchen and laundry facilities, which was perfect for our large family. However, upon arrival, I realized that the house we rented was a separate unit away from the main lodge and estate building. This was quite disappointing, as it was not what I had expected from the photos and description. Since we were travelling with elderly family members who have some mobility challenges, as well as young children, having to drive between our house and the main lodge was not very convenient. We arrived late on our first evening, and the property was very dark. Combined with the quiet surroundings, it felt a little intimidating at night. However, the next morning completely changed my impression. Driving into the estate during daylight revealed the beautiful grounds and the true manor-like atmosphere that I had been hoping for. The property is peaceful, elegant, and full of character. Breakfast was excellent. There was a buffet selection including bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, marinated fruits, and cereals. Guests could also choose a main breakfast dish from the menu. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. After breakfast, we explored the grounds. The weather was lovely, the sky was bright blue, and the entire estate looked stunning. We even saw alpacas, which delighted both the children and adults. There was also a beautiful bamboo grove. Unfortunately, the paths were not wheelchair-friendly, and the uneven rocky surfaces made it difficult for our elderly family members to access the area. While walking around, we discovered a pathway connecting the main lodge and our house, which was helpful. Nevertheless, I still felt a little disappointed that the rental house was separated from the main estate, as it reduced the immersive manor experience that I was looking forward to. The house itself is somewhat dated, but everything functioned well. We raised a few issues during our stay, and the staff were patient, helpful, and provided reasonable explanations. Their service was appreciated. For guests visiting in winter and planning to rent the whole house, I would recommend requesting that the unit be pre-heated before arrival. Visitors from warmer countries, especially in Asia, may find the house quite cold when they first arrive. We also had to spend some time figuring out how to operate certain heaters, as there was limited guidance available. That said, the lodge may not have known our specific needs, and we did not inform them in advance that we might require additional instructions. Overall, despite some disappointments regarding the location of the rental house and accessibility challenges for elderly guests, we enjoyed our stay. The estate itself is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the peaceful surroundings make it a memorable place to visit. If I return to Hana Lodge in the future, I would choose a different season, as I imagine the gardens and grounds would be even more spectacular when all the plants are in full bloom.

El hotel solía ser una mansión privada con todos los detalles. We stayed there in mid-May. Very clean accommodation. Comfortable beds too. One reverse cycle air-con upstairs in the lounge/kitchen area. Rooms were provided with a portable column heater each. There was a towel heater in the bathroom located downstairs but it was inadequate to warm the bathroom. When one of the column heater stopped working, it was replaced immediately. We were happy with the accommodation. The only negatives were lack of mirrors and hooks (to hang wet towels) in the bedrooms but these were minor issues. Will stay again.

El hotel es el mejor hotel que hemos estado en el viaje a Nueva Zelanda. El día de nuestra boda, nos entregamos nuestras flores de boda a la mesa delantera y las entregaron a nuestra habitación. El hotel es muy bonito en el exterior y aún más impresionante en el interior, nuestra habitación era masiva, muy limpia y bien presentada. El restaurante del hotel nos da una deliciosa comida y hablamos de lo bueno que era cada curso (especialmente el dessert). Me gustaría decir que todos los miembros de la equipo de hotel con los que interagimos durante nuestra estadía fueron tan amables y útiles y después de nuestro matrimonio todos se esforzaron por venir y felicitarnos, lo que realmente nos mencionó mucho. El hotel está situado justo al lado de los hermosos jardines del gobierno, que es un hermoso parque y a pocos minutos a pie de la carretera es una increíble serie de restaurantes deliciosos.

Like a 10-15 min to food street. The first reception I met was super nice and she gave me lots of good recommendations. Tried finding reception again the next day and he disappeared and never returned. The walls are very thin and you can hear a lot. There were some ****** yelling and screaming at 10pm one night (I assume they were having their sad version of a 'party' with only 3 guys...). I put my soundproof on and slept. The shower wasn't really clean. When I turned on the water it smelt like hot piss... No exchanging of new towels and I was there for 3 days. Annoying since I went to the Hell's Gate spa and all my stuff now smells like sulphur. There also wasnt any hand soap in my bathroom. Lots of free parking which was nice.

El hotel está justo al lado de Eat Street.

I had a great stay at Rydges Rotorua, part of EVT Hotels. The location is fantastic, especially being close to Whakarewarewa Forest and many of Rotorua’s key attractions, making it convenient for both relaxation and exploration. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view and all the essential amenities. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and relaxing. One of the highlights was the geothermal heated outdoor pool, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The on-site restaurant offered good quality food, and the breakfast selection was satisfying. Overall, Rydges Rotorua delivers a solid and enjoyable experience with good value for money. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rotorua for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I think this hotel was great value for the price we paid. It's literally a 10-15 minute walk from the Te Puia cultural center, which is the reason we fly into Rotorua for the day. 15-minute Uber ride from the airport and back, easy in and out. Another benefit was the room size. I was able to get a one bedroom so my husband could get some work done while I relaxed in the adjoining room. Wifi was good enough for what we needed it for. The included breakfast was... Meh. Quite lackluster. Probably one of the lesser quality breakfast buffets we've had in a while... But I wasn't expecting anything spectacular though. The place has older vibes with a stench in the air. I'm not sure if it was a sewage problem, or maybe it was wafting over from the geysers? But either way it wasn't pleasant.

The overall experience was very disappointing. The service desk was always occupied since there was only one staff member available, which made check-in and any requests very time-consuming. The biggest issue was the hot water kettle in the room—it was in terrible condition, with visible dirt and stains. I needed to boil water for my baby, but it was impossible to use safely. This was a nightmare and left me very dissatisfied with the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at AWA Hotel. The owners were very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome. They kindly allowed us to check in early due to the stormy weather, as we had nowhere to spend time outdoors. The room was clean and tidy, the toilet was sparkling clean, and the soundproofing in the room was excellent. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay that I would highly recommend.
