Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast is a great choice for a relaxing beach getaway. The resort is beautifully designed, surrounded by greenery, and offers a quiet, private beach. Rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with some featuring stunning sea views. Service is excellent—staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. The breakfast is diverse and good quality, though dining prices are a bit high. The only downside is the remote location, with limited options outside the resort. Overall, perfect for a peaceful, luxurious stay.

Hotel Casablanca Desaru facilities are good and satisfying for a family vacation. But the instructions to return the key and card are not too clear. Please provide more simple instructions. Tbanks

Next to 4 points sheraton, suggest to stay here should drive or prepared to Grab. A 15min drive away from waterpark/ fruit farm. 1hour away from firefly park. Near supermarkt and nice cafe kedai kopi otai. But basically cos condo has no short cut or alternative entrance, u must walk out from the front and do a big detour by foot. Easier to drive out. Accommodation wise, yes, apartment block is away from carpark and no sheltered walkway, but is not far, u can drive to entrance first to unload then one person goes to carpark. But bring an umbrella in case. The kids loved the Mario brother theme, lego blocks and slide. Also free netflix. Responsive staff during working hours. But after working hours, expect a slight delay in responses. Cleanliness was ok, not amazing but ok. Bedsheets if just used newer ones will make a big difference on impression. Note a RM 200 deposit is required. Appreciate the hot and cold water dispenser provided. Amenities were great.

La experiencia de estadía y la limpieza fueron buenas. Sin embargo, no pude conectar al WiFi durante toda mi estancia. Contacté a la persona responsable, pero no pudieron ofrecer una solución a tiempo. A la hora de terminar mi clase, la persona responsable sólo respondió que habíamos intentado, pero todavía no podíamos resolver el problema del WiFi hasta que se nos despejara el tiempo. En el interior de la habitación, mi Maxis tampoco tiene conexión, no puede usar el punto caliente en absoluto.

Good place. Nice and clean beach. The place is clean and spacious. But the internet connection is very poor. Wish they had better wifi.

The communication part needs to be improved. I have sent an email 1 day before arrival as per instruction given after I confirmed and paid for my apartment.. However, I did not receive any response or any further instructions on the check in process. I continued with my trip and tried to contact the property owner or the management to no avail. Wife was panicking as we arrive quite late in the evening with 2 young kids. Upon reaching the property, the security guard stopped us and advised us to contact the property owner. We called many times, but there was no answer. We finally decided to check out nearby hotels for availability. That was when someone picked up my call from the apartment (I was calling non stop when my wife check for availability in nearby hotel). After I got on touch with the property management people, instructions on checking in was through WhatsApp, everything was smooth after that. Room is clean and location is good. Everything was smooth after that, was pleased with the rooms and all.

Close by to many eatery places there is small mall nearby and MrDiy 10-15 mins to the beach Room just okay suit the price

It was nice staying here. I came with my mother, my husband, and our 4year old child, and we had a good time. The swimming pool area is really nice, especially having two pools. The beach is also nearby, so we could enjoy the view easily. However, ordering food at the Tiara Café is quite expensive. The balcony is very spacious, but unfortunately it was not clean hmmm there was bird droppings, so that definitely needs improvement. Also, the first bathroom did not have a heater, which was inconvenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there are a few areas that need improvement.

Place was spacious. It'll be more convenient if got transport. Netflix available but very limited channels can be viewed. Hygiene wise, the pillows, blankets, sofas and beds quite dusty and cannot be compared to hotel standard as the pillows inside the casing are yellowish. No drinking water provided but for the price, no complains
