This is the best stay I’ve ever stayed It’s a family run pension with two super friendly golden retrievers, the whole house is newly built, extremely clean, and decorated with good taste The dinner and breakfast are western- Japanese fusion, everything is homemade, definitely worth trying There is a nice and clean private onsen, or you can take a bus to have a day trip to other bigger onsen Minakami itself is a countryside area, and the pension is right next to the bus station There is literally nothing around the stay, so you need to get everything you need in Minakami station, but I think it’s a characteristic rather than disadvantage

地點稍微偏僻，年長男性接待人員非常熱心，房間空間大維持得也不錯，但是感覺得出來建築物的年紀。餐點蠻好吃的，不過有幾道料理偏西式，吃得沒有很習慣，比較想吃到的是當地傳統料理。整體而言是令人放鬆的旅館。

El hotel está muy bien, pero no sólo la comida no era buena, sino que también ofrece una experiencia increíble en las profundidades de la cocina japonesa. Recomiendo a cualquiera que venga aquí si busca una noche rápida y fácil descansar cerca de su transporte.

We were in Hoshi Onsen 25 years ago, and we loved it so much that we decided to visit it once more during our recent Japan trip. Hoshi is one of the most traditional and older onsen in Japan, with more than one hundred years of history. Walking in its corridors or lingering in Hoshi-no-yu (the main indoor bath) you can really feel as if time had completely stopped and as you have plunged in a remote era. Yet it provides any possible comfort. Important renovations have been made, but always with great taste and respectful of tradition. Dinner is excellent and also the open air bath is really beautiful. The surroundings are also very nice and deserve a walk. It is a bit expensive, but no doubt worth the price

Muy recomendado, el host es muy útil. Hay desayuno y cena similar a la cena fina, deliciosa comida cada comida. La habitación es limpia con un pañuelo también. Y la atmósfera es muy buena Si vuelves aquí, te quedas aquí otra vez Si vienes un mes con la nieve, deberías ser muy buena.

El hotel moderno, recientemente construido, que viene con un asno privado en su balcón. Comida con fusión que no es la habitual para las estancias ryokan. Puedes elegir entre la cocina japonesa o occidental que optamos por japonesa y fue delicioso! ¡Es sólo un paseo de 6 minutos a pie al Supermercado!

Nice staff. Good room. Location is a bit far from things but good for quiet environment. Driving is a must. The food, good but not as good as some other places we were in before. Recommend to try especially if in the area.

So many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended.

Our visit to this hotel was perfectly adequate. The traditional setting provided a nice sense of atmosphere, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The onsen facilities themselves were clean and relaxing, meeting our expectations for a hot spring experience. Our room was spacious, but the amenities felt a little dated and could use some refreshment. Dinner and breakfast were included, offering a standard array of Japanese cuisine that was palatable, though not exceptional. The staff were polite. Overall, it's a safe and decent choice if you're looking for a no-frills, standard onsen hotel experience.

La cena y el desayuno son autoayudas, por lo que es feliz que los niños puedan elegir lo que les gusta. Me alegro de que todos los vegetarianos sean fáciles de comer. Lo más importante es que cada comida es muy deliciosa, y yo y mi familia dijeron que quería ir otra vez. La cama es muy cómoda y los niños están felices. También es atractivo tener 24 horas de baño. Definitivamente quiero volver a ir.
