UUsuario invitadoHad such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

UUsuario invitadoWe have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip.
Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us.
The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse.
It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky.
Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner.
We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious.
The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup.
Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time!

LLC1807當晚到達酒店時已過了8時，餐廳已關，服務員拿出簡單地圖耐心地講介附近餐廳位置。早餐是自助式的，比預期豐富，很滿足。酒店佈置很別緻，很多打咭位。有免費停車位，地理位置方便，距離熔岩展覽館Lava Centre 只有5分鐘路程。

PPottspostWe had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.

RRylie El hotel está ubicado no lejos de la carretera principal y es fácil de encontrar, el área circundante es lo suficientemente oscura por la noche para ver las estrellas.
Nunca vimos personal en nuestra estancia de 2 noches, pero el registro fue fácil ya que había un teléfono disponible para llamar al personal.
La habitación está limpia pero es muy pequeña, después de abrir nuestro equipaje no había ningún lugar para pararse. La habitación realmente puede usar algunos ganchos más en la pared para colgar abrigos y ropa exterior.
El baño está limpio pero un poco oscuro y el agua de la ducha corre hacia el resto del baño. Hay muy poco espacio para poner los artículos de tocador.
Hay una despensa en el piso de arriba con agua caliente, té y chocolate caliente. También hay un comedor y una sala de estar con una mesa de billar, lo cual es agradable.
Durante nuestra estadía hubo una tormenta loca y toda la casa temblaba por el viento, lo que daba un poco de miedo. Las ventanas de la habitación no eran herméticas, por lo que el viento aullaba a través de los huecos. Fue un poco ruidoso y frío.
