AAstrxdThe environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

DDaziyouziranjuanjiadeshaonianmengLa reserva provisional no tenía demasiado esperanza, todavía muy satisfactoria después de llegar, la cama está cómoda, la higiene limpia, la habitación está amplia, los dos personas no están muy ocupadas, la higiene está muy limpia, los detalles no hay agua en la cabeza de la caja de oro, la ubicación es también más conveniente, a lo largo de la calle principal, El patio de la casa de la ciudad puede estacionar. Limpieza: La habitación estaba muy limpia, y las sábanas y mantas eran nuevas. Quizás por estar en la primera planta, había un ligero olor a humedad al entrar, pero desapareció al ventilarla.
Servicio: Quedé muy satisfecho. Todas las casas tienen un jardín de té y lo procesan. Nos invitaron a tomar té todos los días y pudimos sentarnos y charlar durante medio día; fue muy agradable.

La gente en las montañas puede estar tan bien configurada por encima de las expectativas, es mejor que muchos hoteles económicos en la ciudad.
Conveniente de transporte, al lado de la carretera, con jardines, cómodo para estacionar y amigable con las nuevas manos.
El paisaje es superbe, el techo tiene una muy bonita plataforma de jardín, puede beber té y ver las estrellas. El dueño tiene una plataforma privada de exhibición solar en su propio jardín. Habrá unos minutos de la calle tras el hotel por la mañana. Está muy bonita y fácilmente tiene una gran película solar
El jefe está entusiasta y invitado. Todo el mundo está rodeado de noche y comiendo cebolla. La atmósfera es muy buena 👍

As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.

Jingmai mountain is not yet well developed as a tourist destination (which makes it more original and peaceful too). So I didn’t expect anything like Xiangongjia - the hotel is well furnished and designed with professional hotel management. The local owner is very friendly too and organised the fire dance on our first night.
The restaurant in the hotel is incredible too - tasty and clean - a level I had never expected just in my hotel and not even in this less developed tourist destination - so we spend 2 nights here - so continent when it is less dangerous drive during night time in mountain area.
The manager also helped me to prepare a bday cake for my friend and made tea for us. And thanks for sharing your and this hotel’s story.
If you have the budget, this is definitely your best choice.

Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.
Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.
The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.
The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this.
Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.
Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.
We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.
Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.
For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.

UUsuario invitado¡Una familia encantadora! Nos invitaron a tomar el té enseguida, e incluso probé su vino casero de pitahaya. El desayuno y la cena estaban deliciosos, bien preparados, y además nos parecieron económicos. Casi siempre están disponibles para ayudar, pero obviamente tienen sus propias actividades al mismo tiempo: un buen equilibrio.
El alojamiento se siente un poco como una pequeña granja: hay varios animales. Ellos y los vecinos también tienen perros y un gato súper dulces y cariñosos. Juegan y corretean juntos todo el día y les encanta venir de visita. Me enamoré por completo del cachorro del vecino.
En cuanto al precio, este lugar es realmente asequible en comparación con otros alojamientos de la zona. La habitación está bien: no es enorme, pero es lo suficientemente grande (y además, la mayor parte del tiempo estás al aire libre). La cama es firme, lo cual agradecemos. El baño es de tipo cuclillas y tiene agua caliente.
La terraza compartida es un punto culminante: una hermosa vista de las montañas y el valle, y se puede ver el ”mar de nubes”, mágico, sobre todo por la mañana.
No teníamos coche, pero pudimos alquilar una moto por 50 yuanes al día. Fue divertidísimo e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún mejor de lo que imaginábamos: los dos exploramos toda la zona.
El autobús para a 1 km aproximadamente, y para el viaje de vuelta a Pu'er, nos ayudaron con un viaje compartido. Son una familia muy amable que te acompaña en la planificación del viaje y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar.
Si volvemos, sin duda nos alojaremos aquí de nuevo. ¡Gracias!
P. D.: Cerca del alojamiento también hay una familia que vende juegos de té caseros hechos con arcilla especial. ¡Muy recomendable!

Yyhj1310Reservé una habitación doble en el segundo piso, con una vista espectacular y perfecta para disfrutar del atardecer. La habitación estaba impecable y la ropa de cama era completamente nueva. Los dueños de esta pensión son personas sencillas y honestas de las etnias Bulang y Lahu. No son muy habladores, pero son muy amables. El dueño es un joven Lahu de unos veinte años que cocina de maravilla; ¡su estofado de patas de cangrejo con pollo de corral y pechuga de pollo salteada son especialmente deliciosos! La ubicación es excelente, con fácil acceso a cualquier lugar. Está a solo 600-800 metros del Árbol de la Abeja Reina y del Árbol Banyan Princesa. Incluso llevan a los huéspedes al mirador para ver el amanecer. ¡Muy recomendable!

SShijieshiwodeyouleyuanSolo un aviso: es mejor alojarse en una habitación que dé al fondo. No pudimos descansar bien y, aunque podíamos tolerar el ruido de los coches, no pudimos escapar del ruido ensordecedor de la cortadora de césped que arrancó justo afuera de nuestra ventana esta mañana. Nuestra habitación estaba en el segundo piso, al lado de la carretera, así que, incluso con las ventanas cerradas, el ruido nos llegaba a los oídos. Después del desayuno, volvimos a la habitación y la cortadora de césped seguía funcionando, así que nos fuimos rápidamente. La pensión en sí era agradable y acogedora. El desayuno incluía huevos, maíz y pasteles de arroz, así que no pasaríamos hambre. ¡Incluso tenían fideos de arroz! Sin embargo, cuando intentamos mojar los huevos duros en salsa de soja, descubrimos que la salsa estaba bastante vieja. Esperemos que los dueños le den más importancia a la seguridad alimentaria.
