Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores. There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road. Very convenient. The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck). The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats. Think sweet pastries and snacks. They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian. The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am. It is a buffet the fills up the entire room. There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot. There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods. The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style). Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas. I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet. Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm. That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell. Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season. I went during early April for 9 days. I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable. This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap. Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use. Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine. The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom. There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups. You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink. This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.

It’s a very local 4 stars the most, many more to be improved including customer services, waitressing and basic thing like the doorman. It’s tough to describe it giving one example, when we asked for steak(Fillet Mignon) cooked at medium rare, we got it medium. Asking for a key card as souvenir also got rejected, simple thing like placing plates without a big bang on breakfast table… however, I’ll still go stay there as it’s a pretty good 4 star local.

Se tarda unos 10 minutos a pie desde la estación de MTR hasta el hotel. Cerca de la estación de MTR hay unos grandes almacenes con MUJI (no muy grandes, pero suficientes). Además, hay SOGO y POYA en otras salidas, lo cual es muy práctico. El personal es amable y atento. La habitación es limpia y cómoda. Tiene Netflix, YouTube, canales de televisión coreanos, chinos y locales de Taiwán.

Facilities of hotel near top niche conditions, probably due to recent renovation or opening. Room is spacious for two. Services of front desk are helpful. Even took time trying to help our cell phone connection issues. Breakfast, although vegetarian only, is tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. Disappointed is about the noises caused by unruly neigbouring guests late at night.

Estaba muy cómodo y nos quedabamos aquí. Luxury, limpio, muy bueno servicio. La habitación era grande con una gran vista. La piscina también era agradable, aunque fría, pero la mayoría de las piscinas en Taiwán son frías y no calentadas. La comida en el restaurante de bufete también era muy buena. Como vienemos muy a menudo/regularmente a Taiwán, definitivamente nos quedaremos de nuevo.

We stayed at 2 bed room suite and really enjoyed the view from the big windows. My daughter loves exploring the rooms and looking out of the window. She still talks about going back to Kaohsiung Marriott as she loves the room. We also love how the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with good restaurants, an indoor children playground and a good book store. Breakfast was of good variety and we chose to have breakfast at the main restaurant everyday. Lounge is also nice, although the breakfast variety is less. My only disappointment would be the kids club as I don't think it is well equipped, in comparison to other 5 stars or 4 stars hotels. It is more like a room with some toys (building blocks and a broken kitchen) and the children fought over the toys. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and hope to return in the future.

Hotel Just Sleep Kaoshiung is conveniently located between Kaoshiung Main Station and Formosa Boulevard Station. It is also within walking distance to convenience stores and Liuhe Night Market. As for the hotel room, we booked a family room. The room is very spacious for a family of four and our 3 large luggage bags. Plenty of walking spaces too.👍👍 The service is awesome and the reception is warm. Although the aircon for our original room was not working despite the hotel’s attempt to fix it, the staff offered us another room and even allowed us to try out the air con before confirming the room. That really saved us else we would have to suffer due to poor ventilation for the 3 nights’ stays. 👍👍👏👏 As for the hotel wifi, it does not work well. Probably the hotel wants us to just sleep at night and not to surf the internet. Hahaha…. 😁😉 The hotel also offers free usage of the washing machines located at 3rd floor. However the heater is charged at NTD 10 per 10 minutes. Oh a thing to note is that the pillows are too soft to our liking. It is difficult to sleep with it although the mattresses are really firm. 😆😆 din sleep well though. And for our room that faced the main street, it could be noisy in the morning. We could hear the traffic. As for breakfast, the hotel serves it from 6.30am to 10.00am. We booked our room with breakfast, however, we didn’t really get to enjoy the breakfast as we woke up late. So it is really up to individual to decide if they would want to include breakfast in their hotel package. Overall, it is really a decent hotel with friendly staffs who are always ready to offer their service. 🎉🎉👍👍👌👌

Stayed at Z Zhongshan Kaohsiung recently and had a very good experience overall. The hotel location is very convenient, just a short walking distance to the train station and easy to travel around Kaohsiung. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom design with separate dry and wet areas. The bathtub was very clean as well, which made it nice for a relaxing soak after a long day outside. The shower gel and shampoo provided were good quality and comfortable to use. The bed was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good rest during the stay. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of selections available, and the menu changed every day, so it did not feel repetitive even after staying for a few days. The restaurant also has a very nice city view of Kaohsiung, making the breakfast experience more enjoyable in the morning. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

The overall trip was enjoyable, but the hotel definitely needs renovation. The bar felt uninviting—very dark, with only a few tables and no good music, which made the atmosphere quite disappointing. They also charge 200 NTD per person each time to use the sauna, which seems unreasonable. As a hotel guest, I would expect amenities like this to be included. If I have to pay extra for basic facilities, it defeats the purpose of staying at the hotel. Overall, the experience with these aspects was quite frustrating and felt unnecessary.

Friendly staff provided exceptional service, from quick check-ins to helpful recommendations. Breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, while the pool area offered relaxation. Housekeeping kept everything pristine daily. Minor noise from nearby streets, but blackout curtains helped. Great value for families or couples—highly recommend for a hassle-free stay. We’ll return next trip!
