I stayed here for one night while I was in BC on a biz trip before catching my flight home. The location was very convenient—only about a 10-minute drive to the airport—and parking was easy thanks to the large front yard. The place itself was lovely: spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and you could really tell the hosts had put a lot of effort into making it comfortable and welcoming. One highlight for me was the washer/dryer combo. It was exceptionally clean and worked perfectly, which was a huge plus after dealing with some less-than-clean laundry facilities elsewhere during my trip. I didn’t get a chance to use the bathtub, but it looked fantastic and had a really unique design. And I have to mention the little details too—the toilet paper was surprisingly high quality, which genuinely made me go 👌🏽👍🏼lol Although there wasn’t air conditioning, the fan provided was more than enough- blows icy breeze. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for somewhere with reasonable price, clean, convenient, and close to the airport.

I am almost a month late in writing this review, but I would still like to give a heartfelt shout-out to the wonderful team at Fairmont Gold. Prior to our stay, we had informed the hotel of our late arrival outside the usual check-in hours and included some questions regarding Fairmont Gold services and benefits. Unfortunately, our follow-up email was overlooked, which led to some miscommunication during check-in. However, the customer recovery service was truly top-notch. The team handled everything professionally, responded swiftly, and resolved the issue efficiently — a level of service that truly reflects the standards we expect from a premium Fairmont Gold experience. We stayed one night in Fairmont Gold, and it was an absolute dream stay, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The views were perfect, and the Gold team’s service was exceptional. What impressed us even more was the Manager’s follow-through. He personally took the initiative to look into what had led to the miscommunication and came to apologise to us later in the day. During our stay, one of us was also feeling unwell, and when we happened to meet him in the lobby, he remembered us from our earlier interaction and kindly offered to assist by arranging some medicine for us. These thoughtful gestures truly reflected the genuine care and attentiveness of the team. Thank you, Fairmont, for turning what started as a small hiccup into a memorable stay. The premium paid for the Fairmont Gold experience was truly worth every penny, and we sincerely appreciate the hospitality. We look forward to returning again.

Todos quedamos satisfechos con el hotel, excepto con Trip.com, donde hicimos la reserva. Al reservar con Trip.com, tuvimos que pagar el desayuno, aunque el hotel lo ofrece como desayuno gratuito. Comimos lo mismo, pagáramos o no. Creo que el problema radica en que Trip.com se aprovecha de los turistas que desconocen las costumbres locales, cobrándonos un precio excesivo por un desayuno que se supone gratuito.

El hotel está cerca del Aeropuerto de Vancouver y ofrece un servicio de transporte cada media hora. El servicio de transporte se encuentra en la tercera planta del aeropuerto y es fácil de encontrar. La habitación era espaciosa, con dos cómodas camas queen. Hay café gratis en el vestíbulo de la planta baja. También hay un restaurante al lado que sirve comida deliciosa y es una popular cadena de restaurantes en línea. Hay una parada de autobús frente al hotel, lo que lo hace muy práctico.

Está muy cerca del aeropuerto y el hotel está conectado a la estación de Skytrain, a solo 15 minutos en tren. Pero no está cerca del centro. El hotel te da $20 gratis para jugar por huésped durante tu estancia, ¡así que básicamente es dinero gratis para jugar en el casino! 🤣 También me hicieron una mejora de habitación de cortesía. 😍 Me encantó esta estancia y es una pena que cobraran a todos los huéspedes la tarifa del resort, aunque no la uses. ¡Pero aun así, fue una estancia bastante buena!

Service: Very professional, efficient and friendly. Check in process was quick. The guy who checked me in ensured I stayed on the same floor as my other family members who booked a different room. Valet service is a nice perk. However, it can take longer waiting for the car vs us going to the car park lot ourselves. Amenities: They have Dyson hairdryer which is a huge plus. Extra amenities are available upon request. Room: Room is as pictured. My room was on the 8th floor and I could see the Richmond night market from my room. Bed is a bit too soft to my liking. Pillows are a bit high and hard. Cleanliness: This is the only category where I wish I could rate zero. Most notably thing I noticed is there's dust on the hairdryer, I was fine with this. Until I got into bed, inspected all 4 of the pillows. Noticed on 2 of them, were a strand of hair (or eyelash?) And some dusts. This pretty much ruined my stay. I pushed these 2 pillows aside to the other side of the bed, after trying my best to attempt to ”clean” them in case I accidentally touched them... It was already past midnight when I got into the room to rest and in to the bed and found out about this. Didn't bother to call the front desk about it. Overall this hotel is great overall. Location is not far from the aberdeen mall as well with car. Service is outstanding. Wish they'd retrain their cleaning staffs though.

The building itself is old but the room is tidy, but has no toiletry supply at all so remember to BYO (not even slippers). I was carrying 3 big luggage and a young kid, but no one helped me with the luggage when I checked in, in fact there is only 1 staff at the lobby/concierge which probably explains it. No one had a smile on their face, from front desk to breakfast lounge, the only one who has a more friendly attitude is the chef in the breakfast lounge, but to be fair, no one was rude, just that you can’t say they welcome you to the hotel. So, no, I won’t recommend this place nor I will stay here again. You can probably get better service/facilities with Airbnb.

Booked for a friend visiting from Asia. Room was spacious and clean but a bit old. View from the room is nice though, you can see the water from the room. Service was acceptable, should include free parking for in house guests. A little bit far from Richmond town, it’s took about 15 mins drive from hotel to centre of Richmond.

La habitación está muy limpia y la cama es bastante cómoda. Sin embargo, ¿no hay zapatillas ni cepillos de dientes en la ducha? Debe prepararlos usted mismo. El servicio es muy bueno. pero no me dieron dos botellas de agua el segundo día. Se sintió un poco extraño. Hay muchos restaurantes chinos y sushi japonés en los alrededores, así como el supermercado T&T, que es muy conveniente para ir de compras. La mayoría de la gente habla chino y hay un minibús que te lleva desde y hacia el aeropuerto.
