Grand Hotel Francais

La habitación es pequeña pero se mantiene limpia. (Es difícil separar dos de ellos). El personal del hotel es amable y el desayuno es muy bueno. Si vuelvo a París, pienso volver a visitarlo.

This hotel is PERFECT for couples or solo (like I was) in March of this year, 2024 for all the reasons mentioned below. LOCATION, in the 11th district of Paris, very close to the Place de la Nation, RER train and several Metro stops right there. Surrounding by a lot of restaurants, pastries shops, groceries stores (Carrefour) as well a Bio, Organic store. It is on a Main Street but it’s very Quiet, very Safe to walk even late at night. From CDG Airport, best is Taxi or Uber, 30 minutes without traffic. HOTEL, with Elevator, 24 hours Front desk staff, 1 welcome drink and some sweets in the room are appreciated, very Cleaned. ROOM, with AC, well Lit, first 3 bottles of water are complimentary, coffee and tea station, small safe box, adequate basic toiletries, very Cleaned, nice view on a small park right below. PRICES, very Affordable. STAFF, Courteous, Polite, Pleasant.

Best hotel ever. All of the staff was hospitable, very friendly and accomodating. We moved to a bigger room when our daughter came to stay with us, and they moved all our bags for us during the day while we were out. Our room was cleaned each day and the bottle water replenished in our fridge. Nespresso and tea pots in each room. Everything was very clean and quiet. We never heard another soul. Windows open up and the view is beautiful. There is a happy hour each evening in the lobby with drinks and snacks and it was relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and extensive. The coffee and croissants were excellent. The beds were comfortable. The shower has a hand held wand which is nice. The towels , and robes are fluffy and soft. Great location. Near at least 2 Metro stations. Lots of shops and restaurants on the block. Someone is at the desk 24 hrs a day. I would stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

Grand Hotel Francais is my Home in Paris! I recently stayed there Jan 1 -4 th with a close friend. The Service is always amazing! They are always there help to make your stay in Paris more enjoyable! The Rooms are Very Comfortable and quiet ,many have beautiful street views of Blvd Voltaire and the classic Paris architecture I love ! Breakfast is Delicious and plentiful! I Love this Hotel and Look forward to staying with them everytime I’m in Paris ! Oh I forgot to mention it’s super close to the metro!

I was looking for a home away from home for my two-week stay in Paris the first two weeks in November 2023. As I was reading the reviews for several hotels and a number of reviews from single women liking the Grand Hotel Francais, the reviews from the single women resonated with me as well as the complimentary laundry service. I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. When I arrived there was a bottle of wine, chocolates and a note placed on my bed. Very nice touch. The Grand Hotel Francais is a boutique hotel with queen-sized rooms that are tastefully decorated. My room had a luxury shower with spa body jets. The towels were changed every day even though I would hang them to be reused. This was the first hotel I stayed in in Paris that provided washcloths. I usually bring my own. There is a breakfast room where you have the option of choosing breakfast with your room. Complimentary snacks and wine were provided every evening in the lobby. Also, very nice touch. The Nation metro station with several connecting lines is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and the single-line station Rue de Boulets is about a block away. I sometimes walked to Rue de Charonne to take the #76 bus that eventually ran down Rue de Rivoli towards the Louvre. If you look at a list of things to do by arrondissements there isn't much sightseeing in the 11th arr. You can enjoy Paris as Paris because the neighborhood isn't overrun with tourists so prices are a little cheaper and there are a variety of good cafes and restaurants in the area. The hotel can give you a list. No hotel runs efficiently without good staff working to hold things together. The hotel manager Si Hocine was a pleasure to talk to especially when I told him the metro police made me pay a fine for having the wrong ticket. The staff were very helpful with answers to my regular questions and went above and beyond to help when I encountered problems with a package I mailed home from another city in France. Amina was very helpful with emailing, copying, and translating for me. In the past, I've stayed in the 1st arr. but this time I'm glad I ventured east and found a new neighborhood in the 11 arrondissements.

The room was excellent, spacious and well equipped, the bed - one of the most comfortable we slept on, the service of all the staff excellent and the location 1 minutes from the metro. What more can you ask for?

The best most welcoming hotel in Paris! We have stayed here pre Covid and now again post Covid and it never under estimates me on what a real gem this place is. Staff and rooms are Excellent. We will be back! Great cafes and bars near by, away from the bustle of centre Paris. Thank you for your hospitality

Excellent accommodation provided, the rooms were clean, big enough with all necessary facilities and accessories. We were also impressed by the staff that was super kind, helpful and accommodating and made our experience even better with their warm welcome. Totally recommended and for sure we would choose it again.
