Avlida Hotel

Our family had an amazing week at Avlida Hotel. The pool was spotless, my children loved the daily entertainment (except Sunday), and the bounce house/castle kept them busy for hours. The family entertainment was fantastic — especially the fire show performed by the entertainment manager(wont attempt to butcher his name ) was amazing — and Yve made my 3‑year‑old’s holiday by painting her face half Batman, half Spiderman.A special thank‑you to Ayushma, who looked after us every morning and evening with warmth and kindness.A few small issues here and there, for example no. iron board in the rooms, but overall, a great family‑friendly hotel and a wonderful week.

This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, there was not a single night where I could sleep properly. The room was an old-style connecting room with a locked door in the middle, but the soundproofing was basically non-existent. It honestly felt like the person next door was sleeping in the same room as me. I could hear them snoring clearly, let alone talking on the phone or watching videos. It was a disaster. The soundproofing towards the corridor was just as bad. At night, drunk guests were shouting in the hallway at 1 or 2 a.m., and it felt like they were shouting right next to my ear. On top of that, the hotel had karaoke every night, usually starting around 8 or 9 p.m. If you were lucky, it ended around 11:30 p.m.; if not, who knows. My room faced that side, so I had to listen to loud shouting and singing all night. Even with AirPods noise cancellation on, there was still a very loud vibrating bass sound. It was basically impossible to rest. The only positive thing I can say is that the receptionist on the first night was very friendly. Other than that, I had no good impression of this hotel at all. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

The most horrible hotel experience. The air conditioning was not working, no room service, unclean bathroom, everything we need was charged extra even water and minor services like towels. Staff was extremely rude, booked a tour package from the hotel and they took our money, and next day told us they made a mistake and could not offer the safari anymore, did not compensate in any way for that and said that it was a human error and the whole experience of our trip was ruined. Would not recommend this filthy hotel with absolutely no services.

The property is perfectly located in Phapos. Just a 5-minute walk to one of the main attractions (Tomb of the Kings). There are plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking, and also a mall at about 20-25 minutes walk. The hotel was fairly clean but lacked some room amenities (considering it's a 4 star). The property is old because of which there were stains and marks on the walls. Breakfast was also fine, nothing great! Overall, fine for a short stay.

good location, plentiful and varied food

Reasonable value for money but a bit far out of town and the harbour.

Very pretty, excellent service , big comfy rooms.

Hotel and breakfast was perfect, the entertainment activitieas too, but the swimming pools were very cold, nobody used them.
