Hotel is in the nice location, near Birtutė’s park, surrounded by pine trees. We got a room with a view to a yard, which was also really nice. It takes about 5-10min to reach Basanavičiaus street by foot and about 15min to reach the sea. As we were visiting the hotel in winter, there weren’t too much people on workdays and only a slight increase on the weekends. Room is nice and clean with a carpets all over the floor, halls are also calming, with a cozy lamps and silent classic music playing in the background. One of the most unique things were the speaker installed in the bathroom’s ceilings. So, whenever you watch TV, you can hear everything even when you go to the bathroom or go for a wash. Room has a kettle and coffee which is free and a minibar which is charged. Another great thing is the bed - super comfy, soft and gives you the feeling of sleeping like on the clouds. However, the were some minuses. I have to agree with a previous visitors that the hotel has overall an old vibe. It isn’t a modern hotel, even though it has some renovated areas (such as the clothing rooms in the spa area). Breakfast were good, the only thing missing were juice:(. Pool area was good as well, but quite small, not adapted for many people. The bigger pool was cold and the hot tub way too hot at times. Steam bath was my favorite, really nice and warm, not too hot, neither too cold. However, saunas were open only after 6pm, which impacts spa experience in a poor way as you cannot enjoy them during the day time. Overall i’m quite satisfied with this visit, but hotel still has room for improvement and development.
