Unique food, impeccable service! I attended a large dinner in the ballroom. The chandeliers and lighting in the room created a beautiful atmosphere. The servers were kind and attentive. Main course was a unique aubergine dish - something out of the ordinary - and it was wonderfully prepared. I’ve eaten at The Alice for dinner as well as tea, and now I know that banquets are as delicious as the restaurant.

It was a short trip to Oxford and we booked one night stay at this hotel. Location was very good as its only short bus ride away from Oxford town centre. The room was clean and spacious for the three of us. Would totally recommend it to others.

We stayed for two evenings in May to visit Blenheim palace. We had two rooms, both superior, one on the first floor of the pub and one leading out to the front. Both rooms were beautiful; the one outside had very low ceilings and beams (ok for us as we’re not tall), with a big clawfoot bath and a walk in wardrobe. It also had the most stunning fireplace that backs on to the one in the pub. The other room had a huge 6ft bed and a very big walk in shower. Both were incredibly comfortable and we slept well both nights. We ate at the pub both evenings; the first night a young chap was managing the restaurant, he and the team did a phenomenal job. The service and the food was superb. He second evening we shared the steak (we had two between the four of us) and it was amazing. Again the food and service was fabulous. On the Saturday we were the only ones eating breakfast, the service was prompt and the food delicious. However the breakfast on the Sunday was an absolute disaster; the chap who seated us (I didn’t catch his name but he had an overseas accent) took our order and then we waited…. We waited and waited as he seated others, took their orders and their breakfasts came while we waited. The room wasn’t full, there were about 5 other tables seated (and he walked past us several times and looked at the table). When we asked him, he blamed the kitchen then went to find out what had happened. He came back and apologised and said it would be with us shortly (to be clear, two of us were only having toast!) only for us to have to chase again. An hour had gone by and we still had no breakfast (every other table had come and gone by then. After chasing a second time, he brought out one cooked breakfast (with the wrong eggs) and an omelette (the other order was for poached eggs on toast), oh and then the toast! We explained this was wrong so he blamed the kitchen again and then said he’d get them to make poached eggs but we said we’d rather not have rushed poached eggs (and to be honest it had been over an hour, we had to get off). There was an almighty row going on between him and the kitchen (I imagine the order simply hadn’t made it and then he’d guessed). We were gutted, it had been such a lovely stay with two fabulous meals and great service and it ended like that. We were told that a guest had a flat battery and they were trying to help out with that, but to me there’s no excitement for that level of service in a breakfast room where only 5 tables have taken breakfast. When I checked out he apologised it did not make eye contact. I really wanted to be writing a positive review and like I said the majority of the stay was super, to the point we’d discussed returning g. However that wouldn’t happen now, which is a shame.

A gem of a hotel. I found this hotel by accident on a google search. The website was easy to use and bonus it's pet friendly! The welcome was very good and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. Tea/coffee in the room and a bottle of water. TV is positioned so that you can comfortably watch it in bed without straining your neck. There is an iron and board in the room too, A large glass of rose wine was only £7.00. Best of all... the Indian food was outstanding as was the service from all the staff. As a customer service trainer for many years I cannot recommend this inn highly enough. I will be back!

El hotel se encuentra a cuatro cuadras de la estación de trenes de Oxford y un poco alejado de los lugares de interés turístico de la ciudad. Difícil caminar con días muy fríos como los que nos tocaron. En la cercanías del hotel no hay buena oferta gastronómicas. Si bien el hotel se monta sobre un pub ya estaba todo reservado para cenar y los precios no eran nada baratos. La habitación amplia. Silenciosa, sin ruidos del exterior. Cómoda. Servicio de agua en botella y variedad de fruta fresca las 24:00 hs, gratis. La cama buena para el descanso. Baño en la habitación. Nos toco una habitación en planta alta y el traslado es solamente por escaleras. No hay ascensores. El desayuno bueno. Productos frescos. Poco variado y no es buffet. Te sirven un solo plato. La habitación no cuenta con cofre de seguridad. El personal del hotel muy atento, simpáticos, serviciales. Fue el único lugar de nuestro largo paseo por Reino Unido donde hablaban español. Pese a que sufrimos temperaturas bajo cero dentro del hotel y de la habitación no se notaba el frío. Relación precio calidad no es económico.

FFeiermanzhang從倫敦機場直接自駕到酒店，酒店就在居民區，外觀就是 submit-detach 的一個 house，到達的時候院子 doorway 有一大車的裝修垃圾，顯得有點凌亂。進到房間還是非常整潔，應該剛剛翻新過，顯得比較新和乾淨。房子當然是有一定歷史的老房子，暖氣和插座都有點歷史了，插座都安排在房子的靠地腳線的地方，充電就比較尷尬了，現在大家這麼多電子設備，還是建議店家多搞點充電插座。我們定的是家庭房，房間足夠大，在地面層，有個落地窗可以通向後面的院子，夏天時候應該還有會有個小的內院，有桌子可以休閑，但我們到的是冬天，院子也沒有佈置起來。早餐安排在陽光房裡的小餐廳，食品比較豐富，環境温馨，可以和其他旅客交流，經理和服務員也很熱情，能盡力幫助住客。交通還算不錯，我們基本就是走路到中心區，大概需要 20 到 25 分鐘，好處就是不用找地方停車，沿途還可以看看兩邊的小學院。周邊吃的不多，但走路 15 分鐘左右有個小酒吧，居然米其林 1 星，有點小貴，但味道很不錯，餐廳氛圍也很好，學校裏面的學生在討論創業計劃，很有大學氛圍。酒店前面路邊就可以停車，停車方便，經理讓我們停到酒店的小停車場，很有到家的感覺。小酒店比較自由温馨，晚上憑密碼進出。總的還是比較滿意。後面兩張就是小酒吧，最後一張是黃昏路上的紫霞。

WwangmaggieAl lado del hotel está la estación de autobús, el centro de Oxford es más conveniente, la zona de la habitación está bien, el sol está lleno, limpio, cálido, la ventana está mirando hacia fuera el paisaje es muy bueno, vio también el pinchazo por la mañana, los niños les gusta mucho. Pero después de cuatro horas de estadía, el tiempo de salida es de diez horas. Es muy incómodo. Además, estadía más de cinco días consecutivos ofrece limpieza de habitaciones. No hemos estado limpiando tres días consecutivos. No creemos que sea razonable, necesitamos mejorar.

ZZHIJUNEl desayuno del hotel es muy bueno, se siente como un viejo camarero y un joven responsable de la recepción, la comida, la higiene y todo el trabajo, y un buen servicio. Lo que no es suficiente en Estados Unidos es que los niños necesitan más dinero y es caro. Nos pagamos 108 libras originales. Añadir un niño de nueve años me necesita 110 libras. Comienza a sentirse como una tienda negra, pero nos da una gran habitación, el servicio de desayuno de la vieja chica también es bueno (Quizás sea un poco difícil que un blanco le ofrezca un servicio a la especie amarilla) Mirando su industria de la pesca, Trip.com se está ocupando de un gran número de regalos que se han producido en la coroa, y se puede pensar en quejarse.(Figura adjunta: Salida de la puerta)

The first person we fell in love is the manager Daniel Kiss. even we have never got a chance to meet him in person. Very pleasant and helpful with booking our stay. Always replied our email promptly. The second person is his colleague. It’s a shame we never got his name. Very helpful and friendly upon check in. Love smiling ☺️. Helped us retrieve key and open the door to our hotel. The room is very big and clean. It has everything you need inside the room. Even microwave. Plates and utensils. Bathroom is very clean. We stayed at the main floor. Not noisy even our room is facing main road. There’s a bus stop just right in front of the hotel. My husband and I enjoy walking. So We walked all the way to the city center and basically walk as far as our legs can take us. We will definitely go back again and highly recommended. Shame I don’t have any photos of the hotel.

Está muy bien ubicado para el centro de la ciudad. A pesar de eso, está en una ubicación tranquila y tuvimos una buena noche de descanso en una habitación pequeña pero cómoda.
Carece de la variedad de instalaciones que usted puede desear para una estadía prolongada. Por ejemplo, no tiene salón, restaurante ni ascensores, que es la única razón por la que no podría dar 5/5 para las instalaciones. Las instalaciones son buenas: té y café en la habitación, televisión, radio y WiFi. El personal es amable y servicial.
Vinimos en coche y usamos el sistema Park and Ride, que es excelente. Los servicios de autobús de Oxford son buenos. El hotel también está a un corto trayecto en taxi desde la estación si vas en tren.
El hotel era ideal para una estancia corta y lo usaremos de nuevo.

JJUNGEl buen ambiente, la ubicación en el centro, caminar y hacer compras son muy convenientes, el servicio del personal de recepción es cálido y atento, conmovedor, precio razonable, habitación limpia y espaciosa, es la primera opción para el próximo viaje a Oxford.

This hotel self rates as 2 stars - room was small, no bath, small sink, desk, only stool no chair. Nothing else. Shared bath. If you are on tight budget & this is what you want, then it’s ok. Conveniently located by train station. Negatives: internet was unacceptably slow. Carpets in common areas dirty and need a deep clean. A paint job would make common areas more presentable. Stairs extremely narrow and steep. Continental breakfast included; staff friendly, helpful except for one grumpy individual.
