Bangcogan is about 10Km from Oslob. During traffic time it takes 30 minutes drive. In the morning it’s only 5 minutes away. There are no signs along the road. So you need to have someone tell you how to get there. Then it’s down a crumbling road across a few driveways and tucked by the beach. The bed room is minimal with a bed with a sheet, a table and a bathroom. The restaurant is hard to navigate. There’s a menu but the staff didn’t want to prepare the food in the menu telling me it wasn’t available until a woman forced them to prepare it. The breakfast included was a cold egg, runny hash; The rice was good. The staff were helpful driving the guests to Oslob for the shark diving. The location right on the beach is very peaceful and guests were swimming right in front. It’s definitely far away from the crowds in Oslob.

one of the better locations if you are stuck to whale watching. very accessible to port area, tumalog falls and whale watching point. the sunrise and sunsets at the bangcogon resort are just as beautiful

The Hotel staff was very accommodating. They gave us the early check-in upon request. Entire staff was very kind to us. The lady at concierge even optimized our itinerary and bookings for kawasan falls, whale shark watching, Sumilon Island Trip, Tumilog Falls. Property is available at quite place.

That was the best experience! We arrived by ferry from Panglao to Oslob early morning. Came to hotel. Even check-in time was 14:00, the host took our luggage and opened the room earlier. It was 9 am, so we even managed to go to whale sharks same morning. Shuttle from hotel took us to place, where special guide meet us and guided to boat. Everything was fast, we didn’t stand in a line, no waiting at all. Also hotel organises tours to Sumillon island and Turmalog falls. Exceptional service! Rooms are comfortable, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

Good for solo traveller.The General Manager is veru helpful she help me to arrange my transportation to airport and help me to arrange my trip for the whale shark at Oslob.Good hotel except the roon is quite far from the main building check in counter and the shower is not working.Poorly i cant take my bath during my stay because the water is so cold.But overall experience is good.

Very friendly staff and well informative about activities and transportation. Highly recommended if planning a whale shark watching and Sumilon Island.

The owner and staff here are amazing, if you are doing whale watching and Sumilon island I recommend this hotel, they shuttle you to the whale watching site and help you register and and then they will take you back to the hotel 100% recommend if you want to do those activities. The only downside is the towels we received was not very absorbent. If you want to go to sumilon island it’s 1500 pesos for a boat but if you share with 8 others it will be cheaper.

Last minute rented this place out because I needed a place to stay close to the Oslob Whale Shark Watching and it was one of the best decisions made. It was only a 3 minute car ride away. I was with my family and we rented the 8 beds (4 bunk beds) room. Room was clean, cold, and comfortable. Price came with breakfast too. Definitely worth your money.

The Island Front Resort is highly recommended if you are planning on staying in the Oslob area and/or are planning on seeing the whale sharks there. The Island Front Resort rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and located right on the water. It was definitely a very nice treat to eat dinner and breakfast facing the clear blue ocean and Sumilon Island, which is another tourist attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, if you plan on going to see the whale sharks, the staff will arrange transportation for you (at a very fair price) and even fast track you on the boat line with a complimentary guide, which will save you time and eliminate some confusion when you get there. The food (both the dinner and complimentary breakfast) was very good and priced very reasonably. I was hoping for just a clean basic room to sleep in (which I did get), but the good and fairly priced food and being fast tracked on the whale shark line were definitely nice surprise bonuses!! 😊

ITS A NICE PLACE, CLOSE TO THE WHALE SHARK, FOOD IS CHEAP AND VERY DELICIOUS INDEED.
