Look no further! Casa Inka embodies all of the goodness of this sweet town. This is a family run B and B and they will welcome you with open arms. Naomi and Rojo made sure we always had everything we’d need to enjoy our stay. The property is set on tiers going up the mountainside, each room is spacious and clean and has a little outdoor space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are hammocks and swings and even a hiking trail climbing up into the mountains from the top of their property. The outside hides the gem that awaits you behind its Incan door! We felt immediately connected to the authentic experience of Ollanta! Naomi offered us delicious avocado, mango, eggs, locally baked bread, butter and jam, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea for breakfast every morning. We spent a week at Casa Inka before moving to an air bnb where we lived for two months. When we left, Naomi and her oldest son Mauricio helped us move our luggage all the way to our new place! We were so sad to leave and have such warm memories from our week at Casa Inka! Ollantaytambo is a beautiful town, filled with archeological sites and picturesque scenes at every turn. Stay for longer than just a stop over en route to Machu Picchu— take time to soak in the beauty of the people and the colorful cobblestone streets of this living Inkan village! You won’t be disappointed! Heidi, Annabelle and Lily😌
