We’ve just returned from a wonderful 12 nights at this hotel (though only 10 were originally planned). The location is very easy to access by public transport from Olbia airport, though we did use a taxi when we arrived (taxis are not cheap on Sardinia). Our room was exactly what we needed to give us a relaxed time, and with a great view over to Tavalora. And a good sized pool was just along the corridor too. We like the option of a small kitchenette in our room, which means we didn’t need to worry about breakfast times or snacks during the day. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance (although some had closed for end of their high season) and the hotel also serves good quality evening meals which proved very useful the evening the heavens opened and we were saved a wet trek for food. Our special appreciation for the hotel’s reception staff who were a great help to us throughout our stay, particularly with guidance on a medical need at the start of our hols (we’d not heard of Guardia Medica Turistica before) and also extending our stay by 2 days when EasyJet cancelled our flight home (we certainly didn’t mind staying an extra two nights!) We’d love to return to this area to experience it in a different season, in which case we’d certainly come back to this hotel.

Amazing location in Olbia old town, closed to Piazza Regina Margherita. Very vibrant with lots of bars around and music on Saturday night! Lovely place, with all the necessities. Nice coffee machine to have an espresso in the morning. Very clean! Owner was very helpful and responding on WhatsApp, he came also to fix a little thing in the bath very fast. I recommend! I was sad to stay only 1 day!

The hotel is OK. Good points: Rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfy. The shower was good, and air conditioning worked well. Not so good points: The location is not the best. Some rooms overlook the grafitti walled port and a large carpark, which is used by boy racers in the evenings. The rooms overlooking the nice park have a better outlook. The balconies are very narrow and are unusable and house the aircon unit. The staff on the whole are very nice and helpful. We were part of a large Leger coach party and had breakfast and dinner included. The breakfasts were good, but the dinners were poor to inedible. Drinks were a bit above average prices, but the room has a fridge, and there is a supermarket along the side of the park. Although not a good location, it is an easy walk to the town which has many restaurants and upmarket shops. There is also a bus (4) outside the hotel that is a 15-20 min trip (€1.50) to a lovely local beach as there is no pool. There is a large terrace off the restaurant, which they did let me sit and use even when the restaurant was closed. For a 4* hotel, I think it is more a 3*

Hotel molto datato: infissi e mobilio anni 70, manutenzione molto carente, climatizzatore anni 90, pulizia appena sufficiente: capelli sui pavimenti e in bagno, tenda della doccia macchiata, tavoletta wc rotta e macchiata, doccia con soffione fisso senza saliscendi e erogazione acqua calda mista a goccioloni freddi, tessuto del rivestimento del letto con macchie evidentissime che non possono essere sfuggite a chi fa le stanze, interruttori sporchi e usurati, internet intermittente. In camera ci sono un minibar e un televisore a schermo piatto. La prima colazione avrebbe potuto salvare l'esperienza complessiva e invece il caffè fa pena: la macchina eroga solamente caffè solubile e latte in polvere come un comune distributore automatico: in un albergo è inaccettabile; stoviglie tutte diverse, vecchie di trent'anni, teiere senza coperchio, tovaglie con evidenti tracce di briciole e zucchero a velo dei giorni precedenti, cibo scadentissimo per qualità e per quantità, quasi nessuna scelta, il peggior modo di iniziare la giornata. I cartelli che vietano agli ospiti di prelevare cibo per consumarlo al di fuori della sala colazione fanno venire i brividi dato che è tutta roba da discount davvero poco invitante; perfino la frutta è passata da settimane... Il parcheggio interno dispone di 8 o 9 posti, cioè non è garantito; il personale è veramente molto gentile ma questo albergaccio non vale il prezzo che costa. Ci si può soggiornare dignitosamente ma si tratta di un hotel da scegliere solamente se non si trova sistemazione altrove.

El hotel esta a 10 minutos caminando al centro de Olbia. Nos llamo la atención que en el desayuno que es bueno, para café o te, había que servirse en vasos tipo platicos y no en tasas como en la mayoría de los hoteles. Hay dos tipos de estacionamientos, uno de bajo en el subsuelo y otro gratis al aire libre. Nos llamo la atención que el aire acondicionado no andaba bien en la habitación. El trato del personal, salvo los que nos recibieron al ingresar, no es del todo cordial.

Arriving late at night to the hotel we literally got taken to our room. After travelling all day and arriving to temps of over 30 degrees we weren’t even offered a glass of water! Rooms were lovely, well equipped and spacious. Paid for a balcony but ours was not big enough to sit out on, we would have been touching knees. Rooms were well cleaned every day and mini bars replenished daily (although you pay for everything in mini bar). Breakfast was lovely, big choice. Staff were lovely. There were signs up saying you CANNOT take food from the restaurant. The pool area is lovely but only 17 sun beds and half had been replaced with hardboard where rattan had obviously come apart. Although they had cushions on top, those ones were so hard and uncomfortable to lie on. They need to invest in new ones and either some more or some reclining chairs (as there is not an enormous amount of space). There was only about 4 umbrellas which is not enough especially as the temperature is so high throughout the summer. You can only get a drink between 10 and 3 by either using whatever is in your mini bar or asking at reception who will and said they will only serve basics. The proper bar opens at 3pm for any drinks and a few snacks like toasted sandwiches and mozzarella/tomatoes. There is a very small supermarket about 4 min walk, it does not have a lot of choice but have some basics. It’s open 8-1 then closed until 5-8 so very limited. So you need to think carefully about food and drink when booking this hotel. No pool towels are available and there is nowhere that I could find in the village that sold them. The village is very pretty and we ate in 5 restaurants and they were all very good. Local wine is very good. There was a few shops all pretty expensive. High end clothes shops, swimwear shops, linen clothes shops. A pretty square and it is quite buzzy at night. Restaurants need to be booked. It’s rare to get a table but just walking in. The pool area is very very quiet, you find yourself whispering which isn’t that comfortable. In the bar area they have background music and I think they should extend it to pool area to make it more relaxing. The restaurant at the hotel is lovely. Independent from the hotel, it’s high end but great quality food and wines. They give a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The day we were leaving we asked reception could someone come and help with our luggage and the lady said “the man isn’t here”. I asked her is there not another man on site, she said she would call me back. It was 3 or 4 flights of stairs. After a while she called back and said “I found a man”. To say I was grateful is an understatement. So I would say it’s a very pretty hotel in quite a rural setting. Breakfast is great but found food/drink for rest of the day needed thought. It would be good if you could purchase crisps or savory snacks at hotel or if they extended the bar hours and menu. Sunbeds & umbrellas need ad
