"No hay necesidad de estar nervioso por este lugar. Todas las malas críticas son de hace años antes de la remodelación. Cualquier crítica más reciente es bastante buena, incluyendo la mía. Tuve dos problemas. Uno, en la habitación dice que debes poner algo en tu puerta diciendo que quieres que la limpien, o de lo contrario no limpiarán tu habitación. Puse esto en mi puerta después de la primera noche. Mi habitación no fue limpiada hasta el tercer día a última hora de la tarde, y me fui a la mañana siguiente. Dos, la segunda noche que estaba durmiendo a las 2:30 AM hubo un ruido fuerte que venía del techo en el piso en el que estaba y el piso del piso de arriba. Definitivamente no pude dormir con eso y fue así durante unos 20 minutos. Y no era la única persona en el pasillo que invertía este sonido. Debo decir que en general es un lugar que vale la pena quedarse. La gente es muy amable y el desayuno es bueno."

Glencruitten House

"Yesterday we experienced the best Afternoon Tea here at Glencruitten House. Firstly the setting is absolutely stunning and the decore inside is very rich and very Downton Abbeyesque ! .The service that Depesh gave us was second to none and nothing was too much trouble for him. So thank you ! . He was very attentive without being intrusive. The food was all home made and just the tastiest ever and very plentiful. There were six of us and we had more than enough to eat and came home with quite a few containers of left overs which is always a bonus - right. !!! Overall it was a truly magical afternoon tea and Glencruitten House did not disappoint. It was an afternoon full of great food, great location and great company. If you are in the area or live locally and looking for something a bit out of the ordinary then this is the perfect place to come. At £40 pp you may think it's expensive. But when you soak in the amazing location and atmosphere and sample the delicious food combined with the impeccable service it's was excellent value for money. Thank you so much for a truly magical time. We will definitely be back. !"

"The room was acceptably clean. Bed too soft with no support. Location is quite good. The young lady who attended to me was very new. When i ask her some questions abt the car park charges etc, she could not answer. Another senior lady was too busy to attend to my questions. Service was not good in this aspect. Simple questions take too much time to revert.. Do note there isn't any wifi in the room, only common areas."

"Nicely presented guesthouse. Though it says no food the proprietor Caroline, kindly left some goodies and breakfast Muesli and flakes in the room which was a nice touch. 😁😁"

"Excelente hotel  La ubicación es grande, las habitaciones son limpias y agradables y grandes. El desayuno era muy bueno. El hotel está muy bien situado. La única luna es sobre la Brasserie Reservamos la Brasserie para la cena de cumpleaños de mi esposa el sábado por la noche, ambos amamos la comida del mar, así que ordenamos a los oysters que empezaran, el camarero regresó y dijo que no tenían oysters, Pregunté qué comida de mar estaba disponible en el menú y él dijo que sólo tenían moscas. Muy desapontado por decir lo menos, considerando que Oban es la capital de Seafood de Escocia. Así que fuimos a EE USK abajo y tuvimos una cena maravillosa, tenían todo lo que queríamos y queríamos."
