I look back at our stay at Grand Hotel Sofia with great joy. Some reviews may state that it's just ''okay'', but I thought it was perfect. Some furniture might be outdated, but this made it charming as well. Our room was very spacious, the housekeeping did an excellent job and made sure all the areas were clean. The bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked really well. I chose this hotel because of the pool and we enjoyed it to the fullest. The pool is very large with enough sunbeds, for this time of the year it was not too busy either. Every morning we spent at least 2 hours at the pool, which had a nice temperature too. Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast, they had brioche with granita and all types of sweet pastries and fruits. Only two points of improvement would be a bit more introduction during check-in, for example how to get to the city center because we had to find out with Google Maps and apparently there was a faster route. Second point would be that the music at the pool, which the lifeguard would put on around 11AM, was very loud rock/country music. Some music is fine but this was very loud and maybe a more generic genre would work better. I noticed people moving their sunbeds to be a bit further away from the music so we weren't the only ones. Parking area was very spacious, we always had a spot to park. Wellness center seemed closed, we didn't receive instructions regarding the wellness either so we were a bit unsure. Altogether we had a fantastic stay and would for sure come back if we ever visit Noto again!

El hotel está situado en una zona de piscina muy tranquila, con una habitación doble y una habitación individual más pequeña. Abajo tenía un pequeño rincón de cocina (que no usamos sino el refrigerador), una mesa de comedor y sillas y un cómodo sofá. La TV Sky con todos los canales deportivos (en italiano, obviamente) fue una buena sorpresa y se puso en uso porque no tuvimos suerte con el tiempo. No hay otros restaurantes a pie - es un viaje de 15 minutos a Modica - así que comimos en el restaurante cada noche por una semana. La variedad del menú es suficiente para comer algo diferente cada noche si quieres, pero los platos que teníamos temprano eran tan buenos que los teníamos dos veces. Villa Ambra es muy simple, perfecto. Pero el tiempo que Ambra pasó pacientemente explicando su hermosa Noto y la zona circundante, la reserva de la naturaleza costera, cava d'ispica y Noto Antico, etc., dibujando mapas y consejos sobre dónde ir y en qué orden, lo que no debería perderse, Esto es lo que hace de Villa Ambra el único lugar para quedarse para visitar Noto. He estado en Villa Giulia durante una semana entera a principios de septiembre y me ha gustado. Con mi compañera hemos reservado una habitación superior situada en 2 pisos de una parte de un pueblo rural. Limpieza excelente de ambos vajillas así como encomiable la atención de los servicios y los cambios regulares de ropa, entre otras cosas de un perfume y una morbilidad que no he encontrado desde hace años. Punto de desayunos: todo producto a Km 0 la calidad encontrada especialmente en los dulces y la amabilidade del personal merece una reserva de vacaciones adicionales. Partes comunes como jardines, club house y complejo rural mantenido de manera inequívoca. Piscina de tamaño amplio bien equipado. Restauración por la noche probado para dos noches, muy buenos precios en línea con la restauración de la cercana Marzamemi (100/110 euros por par de 2 tramos). Un solo neo no imputable directamente a la Dirección de Villa Giulia, pero de alguna manera a señalar, los vecinos a las fronteras de la estructura que a las 6.45 (de la mañana) comienzan el movimiento tierra con la ruina, fresa y flexible y que en la tarde incuestionable de los huéspedes en la piscina imposible el descanso/lectura causa ruido constante y levantamiento de tierra/polvo comparable sólo a los fumadores que recuerdo los conciertos de los Rockets a finales de los años 70. Espero que el año que viene terminen con el aperitivo, las palmeras, las buganvilles y el muro de fronteras, me gustaría volver.
