Kathy is an excellent host. She has done a great giving the home a facelift. Truly a home away from home! It hasn’t been a week and we have already recommended old friends and new friends that we met in town to stay here.

Staying at Alyssa House was the perfect birthday getaway for me. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't have chosen a better place than Alyssa House, Kathy is an excellent host. In fact, everything was excellent....the house, the pool, the breakfasts and the back yard gardens. The private parking lot was a plus. We will definitely be visiting the Alyssa House again in the near future!

Alyssa House was spectacular! Kathy was a perfect host and kept tabs w us to be ready for our arrival as we were late checking on due to traffic. We stayed in the African room which was filled w her travel treasures. The house was lovelier than the pictures, the pool outback was an inviting space to lounge and take it easy. Kathy gave us wonderful tips on sites and restaurants. It was the perfect getaway for our lazy Eastern Shore stroll.

The house is beautiful. So many interesting items and every room is immaculate. Loved our room, The gardens, hot tub and pool are all perfect. Every detail is taken care of. Loved the hot tub on cold rainy evenings. Nice short walk to town. Kathy is very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of fun to converse with.
