快適に滞在できました。
地上階はパブで、上層階に宿泊部屋があります。
チェックインはパブのカウンターで行いました。
部屋まで階段で上がる必要があるため、荷物が重いと大変かもしれません。
私が宿泊したシングルルームは最上階の屋根裏部屋で、開閉可能な天窓があり、昼間は日光、夜は月光が差し込み、眺めも良く、悪くない部屋でした。スクリーン付きの天窓なので、スクリーンを下ろせば部屋を暗くすることもできました。
室内にはテレビや冷蔵庫が備わっていて便利でした。
シャワールームやトイレは共用でした。
キッチンは使えません。
チェックイン後の外出はホテルの裏口から出入りする必要がありました。裏口のドアの錠は開けるのに少しコツが必要でした。
朝食はイングリッシュ・ブレックファストが提供されました。シンプルで美味しかったです。
ロケーションはForest Gate駅から徒歩10数分で少し歩きます。ホテルは住宅街の中にありますが、歩道は凹凸があったりして、スーツケースを転がしづらかったです。

Maybe did not read/check info that well, but espresso machine does not work in the bar, shared showers with questionable lighting and hot water. Very noisy rusty old fridge in room.

Staff were lovely but the room was not particularly clean. The carpet was pulled up and sticky in some spots. People were arguing loudly within the hotel early in the morning and I was verbally harassed by someone in another room as I was leaving and felt unsafe walking back to the station. Breakfast was very nice though and the check out process was easy.

Not a nice place to stay. Room was freezing and dirty. Beds uncomfortable. The pub downstairs is shadey and noisy. Don’t stay here.

The price was great , shame they didnt do food but they were happy with eating a take out in the bar !! Great pint of Stella served , basic but good value , quiet and a good bed !

I am assuming this is some kind of half-way house.
Cleanliness is the basic requirement for any hotel. The sheets were stained, there was hair in the bed, the bathroom and toilets were disgusting. Nearly cried when I needed to use the loo! Did not bathe and left as soon as it was daylight. I paid £76.21 for this trauma!

Have been for a drink with friends and just felt really uncomfortable. Staff were incredibly rude and belittling to an old lady who barely spoke English, berating her for it unnecessarily. No one was welcoming, staff were slow to serve us and we felt like an imposition being there. Amenities are very outdated. A real shame. We live nearby so really wish it would get taken over by someone who could make it into a nice, family friendly pub. Only bonus is it’s cheap.

I should be refunded, me and my wife was bitten all over by bed bugs. Now we're worried that we might have taken bugs home. Don't go to this place.

We came here for a couple of pints after buying plants at a garden center nearby. The barmaid Adele was great, really friendly and funny, and made us feel comfortable. I know some of the previous reviews have been a bit spikey, but if your attitude is genuine connection to East London, a relaxed attitude and a bit of fun you will have a nice time. If you have an expectation of the Ritz then that might be your misconception!
