Hotel 31 Extended Stay

Excellent value for money! Very friendly team, clean, good service and excellent location. The decor was a little bit dated but I definitely recommend this 2 star hotel for a long and cheap stay in New-York

Great location! The staff are attentive and ready to help! The manager is very kind. The building itself is old and elevator kind creepy, however it works pretty well. The decoration inside is old but very clean, and the bathroom has a good hot water bath although not very strong stream. For a business trip, it was a great choice

IGNORE - TEST FOR BUGCROWD !!!!! Good location. The price is about what I would think it would be for a moderately budget hotel in a prime location. Sounds of traffic in the middle of the night were annoying, but I'm sure its like that everywhere in NYC.

Stayed here earlier this week and was impressed. The rooms are compact but with more than enough room to not feel cramped. It has the feel of a small independent hotel you might find in Europe including its funky, gated elevator. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. A sink was in the room and the bathroom just down the hall was spotless. It's a budget hotel and that's what you're getting but for it's price point and its exceptional location, it's a real good value.

Many hotels to choose from: avoid Hotel 31. Period. I advise you very strongly to keep track of your receipts and itinerary. Do not be afraid to persist in demanding a receipt from the desk-clerk on checkout. This is part of a kind of slight of hand when they refuse to give you one. Be sure also to check your credit card for amount charged compared to that the hotel received. I booked directly with the hotel and, upon check out, was told no receipt because I had booked with *******. Not so. After a confrontational discussion with the desk clerk he finally agreed to give me a receipt: one click of the computer and out it came! BUT it was billed to Ex[pedia $78), whereas my credit card stated I had booked directly for $112 with ther hotel (PLUS a $20 surcharge for booking--not stated up front!). Scam. Scam. Where's the extra money going? Really doubt that this review will ever get published. If it does--Beware of these cheap hotel scams.

Небольшой старенький Нью-Йоркский отель в мидтауне, заполненный артефактами конца 19-го века. Дубовый шкаф-мойдодыр в номере, латунные решетчатые двери тесного лифта... Ресторана в отеле нет, но чуть вверх по Лексингтон будет Марри-Хилл дайнер, классическая такая американская едальня, как раз для завтрака. В Мидтауне есть отели подешевле, но не такие атмосферные, а те что подороже из стареньких - примерно такие же по комфорту. Искренне рекомендую этот отельчик - почувствуете себя героем старого фильма.

我不能想象有比這裏還讓我印象深刻的酒店,這是我度過的最難忘的一周。確實很小很乾凈,公共浴室不用等。我們的床又小又硬,床單特別薄,你可以透過床單看到床墊的顏色和花紋。但是!!!!紐約市是世上最好的城市。。。31酒店只是讓我們對大蘋果加深了印象。我們房間里有臉盆、電視,我們見證了最具歷史意義的新總統就職。拐角處有最好的披薩店(和波士頓的Upper Crust)!!!麥迪遜花園廣場也在同一條路上。去‘Apple Greeter’上面查一查有什麼東西,一一列出來。找一個當地人,感受真正的紐約城。
