Aquí, en el aeropuerto, nos hemos enviado un camión, pero el conductor se ha perdido incluso con GPS.
Las montañas altas con carreteras muy estrechas, nos sentíamos un poco enfermos de un auto a una hora y 30 minutos de la caminada al final.

Great location, within 5 minutes walk from the old street.
The hotel is well furnished, with a common area on the 1st floor, where traveller can relax, have coffee and do some casual reading. Great arrangement.
The room is exactly the same as shown in website. Spacious and well equipped. The sea view from the room is fascinating, must book with this view.
Free parking is an additional bonus.
The breakfast provided was marvelous, very delicious.
Hotel owner are really friendly, show us sight seeing area closeby.
Highly recommend to couple and family want a warm stay in the area.

La ubicación es maravillosa! Justo en la entrada de la antigua calle Jiufen. Debido a la ubicación, no se puede quejar mucho de las instalaciones. Option 1: Go pass the Jiufen old street and then a flight of stairs, then turn right for 2 mins.
Option 2: Go into the Jiufen old street and walk about 5 mins until you see a Big cafe at an intersection, turn left and go upwards for 1 min.

Cleanliness - 4/5. The room was clean. What I saw from a few other reviews about this hotel that rated it low for cleanliness was in regards to complaints about the maintenance of the room. Yes, there were some areas of the room that required attention, like re-grouting the bathroom or fixing some wall paper and paint on the walls. However, these things do not make the room dirty. There were no dirty marks and there was no dust in the room. The eating could be 5/5 if those aesthetic issues were fixed but I believe the complaints of other guests about the room to be unwarranted.
Location - The location is excellent, only a short walk to the old street and the view from the property speaks for itself.
Service - The owner was very friendly and explained everything to us clearly. He provided us with a tour of the museum and he was very knowledgeable. He helped us with everything we needed, such as providinh us with an additional towel.
Amenities - There is a water fountain for both hot and cold water for use by all guests. In the room there are some tea bags and cups too. The hotel also provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Nos quedamos en este hotel por una noche. Todo estaba bien. El lugar es un poco difícil de encontrar. La contraseña wifi es el número de teléfono del hotel. No compramos una tarjeta SIM cuando estuvimos en Taiwán, por lo que no era fácil comunicarse con el escritorio frontal sin WiFi. Hay un video de YouTube sobre cómo ir al hotel a y desde la antigua calle. Deberías pedir ese video antes de tu inspección.

PPBBA cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations.
After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs.
Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning.
They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.

Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard.
The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth.
The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters.
Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

WWu GHHave been to Taipei many times and previously been staying near Taipei main station. It was my first stay around Banqiao and first at this hotel. While definitely not as convenient a location relative to the main station, it was still quite a short MRT ride to popular tourist spots like ximending. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was also nice and not crowded. All in all an excellent hotel that i would recommend and likely book when i visit Taipei again.

SSolososIt’s a perfect hotel for the purpose of my visit, right next to a Metro station and three convenience stores, such as 7-Eleven and Family Mart. I like the very modern industrial style design in the room. The bathroom, bedding, and mattress are all high spec. A very positive surprise for me is that the room is supplied with a perfect electric kettle for making pour over coffee and two individual coffee sachets. There is free coffee, drinks, and snacks offered all day long in the lobby and breakfast area. The breakfast is also pretty good. The hotel has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in general. All in all, it has left a very positive impression on me.

Llegamos tarde a las 5 pm y se recomendó que tuviéramos comida en el restaurante del edificio siguiente, que eran especiales y deliciosos. La distancia a la estación de tren es de 10 a 13 minutos, lo que es razonable. También hemos probado las sandwiches y el desayuno de café abajo antes de la salida. ¡Nos disfrutamos de nuestra estadía 4 noches allí!
