The Carriage House on St Charles

Helpful and friendly staff. Great with offering advice about dining and entertainment options. Held our bags for us on our last day so we could have one last New Orleans afternoon visiting the area and the WWII Museum before heading to the airport. Room was clean, historically attractive and yet also had modern updates and amenities to include a mini-fridge. Bathroom bright and roomy. Bed, linens and pillows all contributed to a full night’s sleep. Though right on Saint Charles in the Lower Garden District, surprisingly quiet evenings with fun just a hop away on the convenient Saint Charles streetcar.

The place was amazing and the staff is absolutely amazing. Thank you very much for everything

Great character. Streetcar stops tight outside the building and will get you around. No parking lot but there is parking close by.

This is a beautifully preserved historic home that was turned into a boutique hotel. The interior is a really nice mix of the old and new. The rooms are updated while maintaining its history. Electronic key fobs for the doors and gates as well as old chandeliers and paintings. The neighborhood is going through a re gentrification so some spots are a little suspect (just being honest). The trolley stops right across from the hotel that can take you all over which is really cool. Street parking. I really enjoyed my stay and would return.

Everything was great..staff, location late checkin, coffee in the courtyard. All excellent and zero complaints.

Loved the quaintness of the Inn. But has all amenities needed for pleasant stay. Staff excellent: friendly, helpful. Great location, very convenient to trolley as we came in by train. The room was large and very clean. I would love to make a return trip!

Located near walkable restaurants and convenient store. RTA pick up spot in front of hotel so easy transportation. Cold A/C, nice staff, clean room just wanted a pool or hot tub on premises.

Positives: Staff were nice, accommodating, and friendly. They are also very responsive via *******. Location is walking distance to the WW2 Museum and the Convention Centre. There is a restaurant next to the inn that's open till late at night. I never spent a penny attending the conference in the convention centre as it was walking distance. It was also very quiet, and there is security staff at night. The TV inside my room was really huge and perfect, and the airconditioning was great! The freebies inside the room included shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a soap bar. They also had a kit for toiletries (including a comb) too! Challenges: My room seem to be infested with flying ants (the ones that shed wings often and loves heat/light). This was in Room 21. Although I didn't raise this with the receptionist and cleaner(s) throughout my stay, I would recommend the management / cleaners to look into this and find ways to get rid of the infestation to give an absolutely perfect stay for travellers.

I stayed in a newly renovated room with air conditioner. It was clean and very comfortable. If anyone from the hotel reads this, some feedback: please add nightstands in room 11. It was awkward leaving the bed to retrieve one's phone from off the desk. That said, that shouldn't dissuade anyone from stay here. The location alone was worth it.
