From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees. The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice. You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments. Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it! Stayed in suite with sea view. The view was amazing. The room was lovely, bed super comfy. There was a nice vanity table to get ready at. Bathroom was big and clean. The service at reception were very helpful. The location was great right in old town but not too noisy - music from restaurant in evening but I liked it and church bells on Sunday. I really enjoyed my stay here and was very happy with the suite. Couple of things to point out: there was no furniture on the balconies and aside from a pouf, no furniture in room to move outside. So meant nothing to sit on to enjoy balcony and it’s view. Also the curtain was only half curtain so to block out light need to shut the shutters which then restricts air. I didn’t mind but if you want darkness to sleep might need to bring eye mask. Like I said only minor things. Overall great place. Hot water - i mention as I know this is important to people :)

Hemos estado 10 noches con nuestros hijos de 11, 12 y 19 años y ha sido un viaje familiar fantástico. Creta es un destino de sol y playa muy bueno, y aloj**** en el Kiani Beach Resort ha sido un acierto. La ubicación es muy buena, a 25 minutos de nuestro aeropuerto de llegada (Chania) y la misma distancia a la ciudad, que es muy interesante de visitar. Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y cómodas. Agradecemos al personal de recepción nuestra petición previa de tener las habitaciones de nuestros hijos cerca de la nuestra. Es un hotel donde todo está cerca y no se requiere caminar mucho, lo cual es de agradecer. Tener la playa junto a la piscina es realmente increíble. Un lujo. La comida es muy buena y variada. No es cierto que se repite, como algunos comentarios dicen. Obvio alguna cosas siempre son iguales (ensaladas, etc), pero eso es normal. Cada comida y cena hemos encontrado siempre cosas diferentes y hay gran variedad de carnes por ejemplo. Las bebidas del todo incluido son tal como se anuncia previamente, así que correcto. Tan sólo eché de menos tener hielo en el restaurante buffet. El personal del hotel es muy amable y simpático, ya sea los camareros, animadores o personal de recepción, siempre con una sonrisa. Por ejemplo Vasiliki en recepción fue siempre muy amable. Los espectáculos son también muy variados e interesantes, especialmente la danza griega. En resumen, un lugar para volver en el futuro y totalmente recomendable a parejas con hijos de todas las edades. Ευχαριστώ!

Best holiday!! 'Theos village apartments' is a wonderful, relaxing, friendly, family run establishment. From the moment we arrived at apx 10.30pm we were greeted by the owners with such a wonderful welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. They brought out pizza (which is to die for!) And lovely Greek Salads as we hadn't eaten ( even though the kitchen was closed). We sat on the stunning terrace into the early hours and by the end of the evening we were on first name terms with them and felt we'd known each other for years! The owners, Yota and Dimitris and their son's, Micheal and Alex work very hard to provide the best, friendly and efficient service. The apartments are lovely and clean, very comfortable beds and have all you need for a self catering holiday. Maids came in to clean and provided fresh towels every day. Air con was great and free! The pool area is stunning, not huge but never too busy, we always had beds and we were a party of 10. Micheal and Alex would bring us drinks and ice lollies at the pool to cool us down. The bar and restaurant area is a fabulous, modern setting and provided lunches and evening meals very reasonably priced. We ate there on 2 evenings which we thoroughly enjoyed! Dimitris does all the cooking and is very particular, ensuring all his guests enjoy his food. Yota (who is originally from Canada) strives to make sure everyone is happy and has everything they need. Micheal and Alex are the most charming and helpful lads, advising on local trips and restaurants and attending to every need. We loved all our chats! The local area is quiet enough but has what you need. A great, well stocked supermarket a few minutes walk, a beautiful beach about 8 minute walk with a lovely beach cafe, more shops and restaurants on the main beach road ( there are 2 routes, one is quicker). The bus into Chania is few minutes walk from apartments and only €1.00 per ticket. Takes around 10 minutes ( if that). Buy your tickets at supermarket before going on the bus. Chania old town is beautiful , we went in most days, lots of shops and fab restaurants on the harbour. My parents stayed across the road in Theos holiday apartments ( a separate business) because Theos village couldn't fit us all in. But my parents used Theos village facilities and were greeted and treated as one of their own guests, which was lovely! 'Mama & Papa' loved it! I cannot rate our stay highly enough! We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and made great friends with the 'Theos village family'. We were sad to leave! We are looking forward to returning next year!
