"A friendly and characterful small hotel, thoroughly recommended. Spacious en-suite rooms and a wonderful open air mezzanine area for dining and socialising. A bountiful breakfast is provided and, in the evenings, food can be ordered in from local businesses by the reception staff. We found it convenient and flexible around our visit E.g. offering airport transfers and arranging day excursions. I loved being in the heart of the local community whilst attending an international conference. Although not all staff spoke English fluently, everyone was happy to use Google translate to ensure accurate communication. All in all, an excellent visit that I would happily repeat!"

"Hotel doesn’t allow to cancel booking despite it’s about illness. I was unable to move due to high hill reaction in mount ericyes. Because I didn’t go see doctor and didn’t have medical proofs, my request of cancelling is rejected. I had to book another hotel nearby to rest for 1 more day….I understand the policy but was wondering if there could be better way to handle such case or respond to me faster than the 10 hours wait…"

"We checked into the hotel-like place on May 31st, and as soon as we entered, things started to go wrong. We spent the first five minutes searching for reception. Then, thanks to the other guests, we managed to find them. The lighting was dim, making it impossible to find anyone. It was also very cramped. Once we found reception, the remaining money, as always, became our priority. Anyway, we paid and then went to the room (a room needs a thousand witnesses). Since we have two children, we had requested a single bed and a cot when we booked. They weren't available. Our companion, claiming nothing had been said, called Mr. Emre, whom everyone praised in the reviews, to inquire. The man everyone praised offered no information. My wife and I then took care of the linens and blankets that arrived. When the friend said he didn't know much about this, we had to deal with it ourselves. Anyway, we were tired from the trip, so we tried to sleep. I say "worked" because we get a lot of wake-up calls during the night. The only way to get fresh air was through a ventilation pipe they'd built from a water pipe. Anyway, we woke up in the morning and went to have breakfast. The plates we were served weren't cleaned. There was also a dog with puppies wandering around. We're having breakfast with animals in a 5-square-meter space, and smoking is allowed indoors. I don't have to endure the smell of cigarette butts. The tables are covered in cigarette ashes. We went in because there was live music, but the kids and I couldn't get in because of the smoke and smell. So we went to bed. When we got to the room, our linens and clothes were damp. Imagine, the blanket had become so heavy from the humidity. We got up for breakfast again, and the cleaning was spotless, and we left without even having a proper breakfast. Also, a dog was sleeping on the way to breakfast. When we asked the staff if this dog belonged to the hotel, they said no, it came from the den and didn't respond. No one noticed us either when we entered or when we left the hotel. The much-praised Emre Bey probably didn't even notice us coming and going. In short, it's a terrible place, unfortunately."
