We had a great location and loved our room and we could whale watch every day from our balcony. We went Ziplining and snorkeling and boogie boarding all close by. They food trucks were in walking distance as well as shopping close by.

Upgrade sleeper sofa! Some rooms do not have a view. Great outdoor lanai! Whales were jumping! No beach for swimming and pool is cold! I wanted to delay due to needs for Maui fire victims but RCI would not let me without major economic loss on my end. Sad…

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful and communicative despite our late arrival. Our unit was beautiful, clean, well stocked full kitchen. The pool area by the beach was gorgeous and relaxing. Easy walk to stores and restaurants. Only negative is the street side is a bit loud. Otherwise fantastic stay.

We stayed at the Hona Koa over Christmas with my family. The units were spacious, clean and the location/view of the rooms was great. Hona Koa is located very close to everything. Staff were helpful. The bedroom furniture was fine, however the sofa could be replaced with a newer one or better cushions.

We used this to launch to other Kaanapali beaches. Good food is close by and you can grill. The kids loved the pool after the sun went down. Wish we could have stayed longer. They give you a list of what’s open and what’s not. Beautiful views from the lanai. Would stay there again. The room was perfect for our fam of 6- two bathrooms were clutch.

Hono Kai was a great resort to use to visit Maui. We were 5 adults (2 couples & a teen). We had plenty of room, a full kitchen and one of the best views I have had while using timeshare over the past 30 + years. Unit 402 was facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. We were @ 3 miles north of Lahaina so we saw the results of that disasterous fire. The people we talked with were happy to have tourists coming back. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

Gorgeous view, right on the ocean (no beach access)! Large lanai to relax and enjoy the waves, view of Molokai., overlooking pool/hot tub. Master with en suite just off lanai, very nice size. 2nd bedroom opposite side of unit, with 2 beds, en suite. This had only window on walkway in front of unit. Galley style kitchen well equiped. Dining area comfortable size. Walkable to grocery store.

Great staff they let leave our luggage at 8am way before checkin so we had room in car to pickup family at airport. We travel often and have NEVER had a room this clean ,you could go barefoot all day and your feet were still clean at night!
