"Lo que me gustaba más fue la amabilidade del personal. Primero, el dueño, sin preguntarle, me cambió la habitación. Por error había reservado un matrimonio y eramos dos hombres y él inmediatamente hizo el cambio. Se llama atención ! Entonces la recepcionista, la mañana, me pregunté si podía tomar otra taza de café (gratuito) y me respondió todo el café que quiere con un hermoso sonrisa 🤗 La habitación es grande y muy espaciosa. Dos camas grandes y cómodas. Agua caliente en el baño ¡Muy cerca del centro de Nagua y muy cerca del mar. Bella piscina. Desafortunadamente no se aprovechó porque he llegado tarde y el día siguiente llueve. Precio excepcional. Le aconsejo!!"

"I was involved in an incident that happened on April 19th, 2025. A group of people came in the hotel and picked a fight with me & my family. The security guard did absolutely nothing to help us even though it was a fight between 4 women, he stood there and watched. I had to be security and deescalate the situation. My phone got stolen during this and I asked the hotel for footage and they took 3 weeks to send nothing and tell us THE SECURITY FOOTAGE WAS NOT WORKING. There should be no reason you have cameras everywhere and they don't work.. The owner of the hotel was very rude and acted like she didn't care. Thank God it wasn't worse because it looks like the owner wouldn't care if we got seriously hurt. They need to worry about the safety of the people and they need a better person operating the hotel. DO NOT GO HERE! The other staff members were kind and hotel is nice but the owner does not know how to treat people unfortunately."

"Nice place … difficult to find . Flys n the restaurant. Food was ok . The serve me the wrong meal. They said yo eat that and that they would give me a free dinner to cover for the mistake . They did not gave me any free dinner . They just apologized. Meals were more expensive that other restaurants around and more expensive than the capital."

"A very bad experience. The staff were arrogant and visibly annoyed by the presence of guests (rolling their eyes, a complete lack of courtesy). They had absolutely no sense of service. After a simple request, and after a disagreement about a simple request, they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. The breakfast was insignificant and did not live up to the hotel's advertised standard. A small, stale croissant, an omelet station, four jams, and that was it. I was supposed to receive a 15% discount on my restaurant bill since I booked with a "few days in paradise" upgrade, but even then, the staff failed to do their job properly. This establishment clearly lacks professionalism and attention to its guests."

"We went for lunch twice, recommended by our rbnb super-host, Diana, Puerta Al Mar, in Cabrera. Friendly atmosphere, excellent customer service. The cocktails, Spritz and Rum and Coke and Gin Tonic, very good. The food was excellent, shrimp tacos, good salad dressing, soft tacos, shrimps perfectly cooked. Yuca frita is a must, really good fish with good curl fries, a hearty meal. The pasta, al dente and not salty, and the cream sauce was light. I recommend La Catania restaurant with a well balanced menu, diverse and non greasy. The chef came out to say hi and we congratulate him for a job well done, we liked that the kitchen is exposed, very clean and well lighted. The atmosphere, peaceful, beautiful grounds, you can use the pool or just relax and lounge in a small piece of paradise in Cabrera, Dominican Republic. "
