Our stay at Kistar Cave Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled in Uchisar, the surroundings are quiet and serene. The hotel offers amazing views of the surrounding caves and landscapes. We intentionally chose a location away from the bustle and Kistar proved to be the perfect retreat - peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently close to Göreme for exploring. What truly sets Kistar apart is its exceptional hospitality. We were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel less like guests and more like family. Each morning began with an unforgettable breakfast lovingly prepared by the anneanneler (Nonnas). It was evident that every detail was crafted with care. From freshly churned yoghurt, an array of homemade jams, freshly baked breads, vibrant salads, and beautifully slow cooked vegetables. Every breakfast felt like a heartfelt feast, and we deeply appreciated the time and effort poured into each spread. Despite the winter chill outside, the rooms were well heated and comfortable. Even when temperatures dipped to zero degrees, we could relax indoors in just a t-shirt. An unexpected treat was to see the hot air balloons take off from our balcony. There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel - from local Turkish food to Asian and Italian. Kistar Cave Hotel is a family-owned gem, and staying here truly feels like being at home, away from home. The owners gave us lovely treats to bring home and we are so touched by their warmth and kindness. For those seeking tranquility, authentic hospitality, and a memorable Cappadocian experience, Kistar is the place to go to.

The hotel was very well located near the central town of Goreme, within walking distance from many nice restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay - helping with booking of services such as local tours, airport transfers and our hot air balloon ride which was cancelled initially due to bad weather, constantly checking if we are happy with everything, 24/7 availability via whatsapp. The hotel breakfast was also fantastic with a wide variety everyday. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here

Aunque al principio no fue agradable que nos dieran una habitación diferente a la que nos salió en la solicitud, y nos cambiaran de habitación cuando nos opusimos, no me pareció un comportamiento adecuado, y no se mencionó ningún servicio, por lo que no es un hotel que volvería a elegir.

We stayed for four nights and five days. We had requested a room with a window, but on the first night, we were given a room without one. However, from the second night onward, we were able to move to a room with a window. The first night’s room was actually a cave room with a 600-year history, so it turned out to be a precious and memorable experience. The hotel staff, especially Eylul and Enes, were very friendly and always attentive, checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Thanks to their kindness, we were able to spend our stay comfortably without any inconvenience. On the morning of our departure, the water supply stopped, but the staff responded quickly, and we were able to use water again before leaving. Taking photos on the rooftop with the cats and the hot air balloons in the background became an unforgettable memory. We also got to ride a hot air balloon, making it a truly fulfilling five days. Thank you very much for everything.

We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people. The air conditioner in one room was not working. When contacted, the staff who was first sent to check, insisted the AC was working and then said it was not the hotel’s problem. This was surprising and disappointing from a pure service perspective given the high reviews this property has across several booking platform. The lady in charge of the evening shift eventually agreed the AC was not working and gave us a basket of fruit as an apology but they were not able to fix the issue until the next day and provided some pedestal fans overnight. They again provided more fruit and bottled water the next morning before we left for our day tour as another apology. However the service (especially the initial reaction by the staff) and amenity scores are heavily impacted by this experience. Another issue was a slight leak from the bathtub in our room which ended up making half the floor wet afterwards every time someone took a shower. This again has resulted in a lower cleanliness and amenity score. The hotel were able to accommodate our request to have rooms on the ground level to avoid too much climbing up and down stairs (we had members of our party who had slight mobility issues) - which was a positive, however, these rooms overlooked the road which the hotel straddles and so fairly loud traffic can be be heard throughout the day and also very early in the morning (3:30am) from those leaving for their hot air balloon trips. The rooms don’t seem to have much sound proofing. Note: this is magnified by the fact that this road is at the top of a hill so motorists have to gun their engines to get to the top making the noise louder. These few issues overshadowed what was otherwise a decent experience. The breakfast buffet is great with a wide variety of options - service was great at the buffet. The rooftop terrace where you can sit and relax and watch the hot air balloons fly overhead early in the morning is another highlight.

우치히사르성 바로 밑에 있는 호텔 리얼 동굴호텔 욕조에서 이 창문에서 보이는 열기구 뷰 하나보고 예약 했는데 열기구 안뜸 좀 아쉬웠지만 아침에 보이는 이 풍경도 너무 좋아요 조식도 너무좋구요 조용해서 또 좋았어요 직원분들 다 친절하세요 괴레메 에서 조금 떨어져 있어서 택시 타고 왔다 갔다 하는 불편함 과 어떤 투어든 젤 먼저 차량 탑승해서 시간이 마니 걸리는 단점은 있어요 동굴 호텔 겨울에 가면 춥다고 했는데 여긴 따뜻했어요 3일 묵었는데 좋았어요

Considerando que se trata de un hotel de 3 estrellas, las habitaciones me sorprendieron gratamente. Solicité una habitación tipo cueva con ventana, lo cual fue sin duda una excelente elección: le dio al espacio una sensación mucho más fresca y garantizó una ventilación óptima, por lo que no se sentía húmeda ni sofocante en absoluto. La distribución y el estilo eran realmente únicos e interesantes. Además, ¡los croissants del desayuno estaban deliciosos! Sin embargo, las instalaciones están bastante anticuadas. El mayor problema fue el suministro de agua: era muy difícil regular la temperatura tanto de los grifos como de la ducha. El agua caliente era irregular y a menudo teníamos que esperar mucho tiempo hasta que finalmente se calentaba lo suficiente para usarla cómodamente. En cuanto al servicio, el personal habitual fue encantador: amable, servicial y siempre educado. Desafortunadamente, la experiencia se vio completamente arruinada por el gerente. Durante nuestra estancia, tuvimos un problema con nuestro equipaje y solicitamos ayuda al hotel. En lugar de ayudarnos o mostrar alguna disposición para resolver el problema, el gerente se mostró poco cooperativo y grosero. Nos proporcionó información engañosa y nos dijo que llamáramos a la policía, pero nos amenazó con demandarnos si no era culpa del hotel. Lo peor es que nos amenazó con impedirnos salir de Capadocia debido a la investigación. Su comportamiento fue extremadamente poco profesional, intimidante e inaceptable para alguien en un puesto directivo. En resumen, la habitación y la ubicación están bien para el precio, pero prepárense para un suministro de agua caliente irregular y, lo que es más preocupante, un trato muy desagradable y amenazante por parte del gerente si necesitan ayuda.

環境十分好，有個公共大天台，可以坐吊椅，也有懶人沙發，能在這看到滿天熱氣球，甚至有些熱氣球離我很近，晚上面對小鎮背靠山脈，邊吹風邊聽隔壁餐廳音樂，十分舒心；前台層有中庭，去躺著很休閒舒服 衛生好，床舖舒適，房間通風，十分安全，24小時前台，工作人員熱情且樂於助人，位置也好，不用爬山就能到達，但同時也不太矮，足夠看熱氣球 如果有機會再來格雷梅，會再來住宿

Excelente y amable servicio del personal, excepcionalmente de Mostava. Hemos llegado tarde a las 8:00 y salido a las 3:00, ya que tuvimos un viaje de día antes de entrar y capturar balones de aire caliente cuando salíamos, él nos mantuvo el equipaje todas esas veces y después de volver de los balones, Nos hemos dado un paseo de día antes de tomar el autobús nocturno, nos ha dejado duchar y fresar, aunque hemos salido y reenvasado nuestras maletas en su lugar.

La experiencia general es buena. Nos preocupaba que hiciera frío en la cueva. Sin embargo, la temperatura era agradable y puedes controlarla. Además, había muy buena conexión wi-fi. Sin embargo, tuvimos algunos problemas allí: 1. La tetera está rota y hay que cambiarla. 2. El secador de pelo es viejo y de mala calidad. 3. Cuando nos registramos, el propietario dijo que el té es gratis y está disponible en cualquier momento, creo que no se entendió bien, ya que el último día el anfitrión nos pidió que pagáramos 400 tl por el té y el café. 4. Reservamos una habitación con chimenea pero el anfitrión dijo que no funciona. Luego sí aclaramos por qué no funciona y el problema fue que el dueño no tenía madera para ello y no era posible comprarla por nuestra cuenta en ningún lado (visitamos 4 lugares diferentes).
