«The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, despite us not speaking Chinese and them not speaking English! They booked our taxi back to Hezhou station and when we could not find the hotel (the map pin is in the wrong place - it’s really just through the gate after the big tree), they came to collect us and walked us to the place.
The bed was a good size and very comfy. Room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was small but Huangyao is a short stop so this doesn’t matter too much - shower was good and hot.
It was a shame that the door was bolted closed at 6:45am so I couldn’t go for an early stroll - 24/7 reception advertised but maybe not provided.»

UUsuario invitadoThe location of this hotel is perfect. Just a few steps from the front door, through an arch and there you have an idyllic view of the river, bridge, the beautiful architecture, market traders, a mill wheel, wonderful night lights, cafes.etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old house with lovely courtyards. There are lots of steps but the hotel owner kindly carried my case and met me from my taxi.
You need a ticket to enter the old town which the owner helped me organise; i coukd not arrive by taxi and just go to the hotel.
The view from the room was very nice.
There were mosquitos so you should remember your plug in repellent.
There was a tea service in the room but no tea

LLiuanhuaming9El hotel está limpio y bien equipado. Se encuentra dentro de la zona turística, a unos 200-300 metros de la entrada principal de la plaza Qianxing, a pocos minutos a pie. Desde el hotel se puede explorar fácilmente el casco antiguo. El dueño es muy amable y atento; cuando lo contacté por teléfono, vino personalmente a la entrada de la zona turística para recibirme y ayudarme con el equipaje.

AAsia Traveler from GERThis small hotel just outside Huangyao Ancient Town was a great choice for our visit. It’s located only a few minutes’ walk from the entrance to the ancient town, which made it very convenient without being right in the middle of the tourist area. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated after spending the day exploring.
The hotel is simple but thoughtfully designed, with clean, comfortable rooms, good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. The décor mixes modern comfort with local style, and our room had a lovely view of the nearby hills.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. While they didn’t help with luggage, they provided useful local tips, such as where to eat nearby and the best times to visit the ancient town to avoid crowds. Communication was basic but sincere, and they were always available if we needed anything.
Breakfast was basic but fresh, with rice porridge, buns, and fruit. There’s also a nice courtyard area where we enjoyed relaxing in the evening.
Overall, this hotel was a quiet and comfortable base just outside Huangyao. It’s a good value option with kind service and a great location for exploring the ancient town without the noise.

XXiaoqiaoxiaoqiaoLa habitación estaba limpia y cómoda, y la cama y las almohadas eran muy cómodas. ¡La vista desde la azotea de la casa de huéspedes también era increíble! El vestíbulo estaba repleto de la maestría del dueño en teñido anudado y una decoración muy cuidada, e incluso había un guzheng y un piano para música informal. Los dueños fueron muy amables. ¡Incluso encendí fuegos artificiales en la puerta! Un maravilloso viaje de tres días.

YyukophotographyI'll be honest, the place is super - the staff is super and nearby they have a place where you can eat something like a restaurant and I was given a discount as a guest of this hotel! And the view is gorgeous and from my balcony! The staff is super, they even checked me in early!
The only thing you need to understand is that the noise level is high everywhere! In the rooms!
But I recommend it and will go again! Thanks to this hotel and the staff!

UUsuario invitado衞生：可能因為春節吧，衞生方面做得不太好，榻榻米的木板能用濕巾擦出黃黃黑黑的污漬，牀頭櫃還有美甲的斷甲。靠近窗口地上的角落佈滿灰塵，廁所捲紙衹有小半卷雖然我們自己帶了。
環境：隔音可以説沒有，因為房間在二樓，窗外是街道，所以摩託車聲音，説話的聲音聽的很清楚，外面煙花爆竹也放到12點，樓上的人在榻榻米上蹦躂會發出嘣嘣嘣的聲音，早上8點多清潔阿姨搞衞生會拉椅子桌子也很吵。
設施：Wifi在房間是搜不到的，在走廊能搜到，所以沒法用wifi。説是湖景是側湖景，探頭能看到一點那種。民宿靠近南門，有停車場不過在外面，大概1-2百米的距離，民宿樓下的停車場一般不開，因為路很窄，不過退房的時候可以開過來放行李。
服務：前台的姐姐笑容很好，態度也很親切。
給大家提個醒：門票可以在民宿買，會便宜一丟丟，導航到南門就打電話讓前台姐姐出來接，然後帶進去再買門票，門票可以管3天，週日説是免票。最好自己帶耳塞，睡眠質量會好點。

UUsuario invitado黃姚酒壺山大酒店真的是來黃姚遊玩的滿分住宿選擇！我們特別喜歡酒店中庭古式韻味十足，飛檐翹角、紅牆黛瓦，盡顯嶺南古韻，一眼就驚艷。庭院更是點睛之處，長廊通幽、綠植繁茂，石桌石凳錯落有致，雨後漫步其中，滿是詩意與愜意。雙床房空間寬敞明亮，床品乾淨柔軟，中式窗格將庭院美景引入室內，木質裝修温馨舒適，住感絕佳。我們下次來黃姚玩還回來住。

HHelen Yu (Chestnut Journal)Tucked away in the farther end but still within the Huangyao ancient city, the Huangyao Dayuan provides quiet respite for travelers within the city itself. It is also located next to a heritage site. The staff was very helpful and gave me the information I needed to proceed to the next leg of my journey. There was a breakfast coupon and the vendor made good breakfast that lasted me all morning. The room was very spacious and it was also warm at night. All around could not have asked for more.
