Took hours for someone to come to the room .. tv was not working at all .. there was left over food in the bathroom on the floor by the garbage and some towels were also dirty

As i definitely enjoyed my alone time with my wife. We were disappointed in the room. Pool was COLD . Nothing seem to work properly. Staff seems to always be dealing with those issues as they robotically say “ send service - maintenance to your room. Never came

The staff on the property is amazing, both Donna at the front desk and Charlie in maintenance were amazing staff.
When checking in, found an issue with the room (broken tub with a crack) and the second room had leaking facet. Charlie worked with Donna to see what was available and could be done and recommended a room he knew had no issues (and even came with to make sure).
Spooners food for diner was just as good as their other properties and quickly delivered after ordered.
The only down side was at the end of their nature trail was a pile of old electronics (televisions and old printers among other things) which was kinda depressing after such a nice nature walk on the trail.

Everything about the property is dated. They need basic maintenance on the lakeside villas, including paint, landscaping and cleaning the outside common areas.
The dining option is expensive at $55 for average food and service, advertised as steak and shrimp night. It wasn't great. Likewise for the breakfast buffet, very average.
We went to the Mt. Airy ****** for dinner the next night which was great. Luckily it's only a 1.5 miles away.

Staff was excellent check in was easy room was nice but not as clean as expected in room pool could not be used water was too cold after three attempts off trying to get it warmer gave up food and service was excellent fixtures in room were old and worn but serviceable

It was awesome having a pool in the room and a jacuzzi! It was dated and needed an upgrade however overall it was a nice get away. Also the fireplace was cool too!

Mirrors mirrors and more mirrors. Don’t be shy. The 70’s are back in style again with this classic round bed (very firm :) ), heart tub jacuzzi and pool with a fireplace.
Logs are in the gift shop.
Will definitely go again for a two-night getaway.

I went on a Monday and it wasn’t too crowded. The booking was pretty fast and the receptionist Jane was pretty nice also. The room was easy to find. From the outside of the room it looked like an average unit. Once inside I was surprised that it looked like the picture and even more. The room had 3 floors. It had a hot tub shaped like a champagne glass, a pool, and a sauna. The bed was lovely also with a starlight ceiling. Free breakfast made to order. The waiter was very nice also he was fast and friendly. We didn’t eat dinner there but next time I would try and I definitely will be back.

Our room was not ready until an hour after check in. The room was ok except for some mold around the tub tiles. The ramp to the room is uneven and wobbly. I realize it is winter but the place needs a face lift
