"The hotel room we stayed in was looking tired and could do with an upgrade. The bathroom could also do with some TLC, but as it was a last minute booking and a good price, it was ok for the night. Breakfast was very good and the service and staff were excellent. The road into the estate was full of pot holes and really needs attention!"

"Estaba este fin de semana para visitar a mi compañero que trabajaba en la zona Este hermoso hotel, las habitaciones son limpias, la cama es cómoda. La zona es conveniente, todo en la distancia de conducir a los guardias de los muros/museos o hay algunas hermosas caminatas justo en el paso de la puerta, y es hermosa y tranquila. El desayuno es grande (incluso las opciones de veggie!), el tipo que lo ejecuta fue realmente útil, amigable y conocido.Será definitivamente quedarse de nuevo y recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera una agradable calle rural "

"We had a warm welcome at this beautifully situated riverside pub. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and drink were excellent and our room was warm, quiet, comfortable and clean. The bar was used by local people as well as visitors from further away. There are lots of lovely walks straight from the hotel, and you can also fish for salmon in their own stretch of the Coquet. Our only very minor complaint was that the basin in our bathroom was a bit slow to drain. We'll certainly hope to visit again."

"The room was clean and tidy with tea/coffee facilities Didn't stay for breakfast as they didnt start till 9am we had to leave for a journey had I known in advance the time of eating I wouldn't have booked here"

"Stayed one night here Really enjoyed it Free parking spotless room comfy beds every thing in the room was there hairdryer toiletries hot shower proper glasses too not plastic!! Had a delish meal in the evening downstairs the pub has a lovely buzz to it and the drinks aren't too pricey The staff are friendly and obviously know there job Breakfast was excellent my husband was delighted when he saw the old school fried bread We loved it "
