"This beautiful bush Lodge is so perfect. We stayed one night on our way to Karongwe and the service and welcome were second to none, and the accommodation was stunning. The staff are extremely friendly, and the owner Fabian and his wife are just lovely. The decor is amazing, there is an outdoor & indoor shower and the animals roam freely outside your windows. We sat with a bottle of wine on the upstairs terrace and watched wildlife coming to the water hole. The sounds of the bush are so magical. We went out walking and saw giraffe, warthog, zebra and plenty birds, during daytime. We sat at the hide near the big water hole and saw the animals and birds who were unaware we were there. The meals were superb and very reasonably priced and the finishing touches in the room like the liqueur and water decanter were appreciated. Everything very clean and well maintained. We will return for sure. Thank you Fabian and your team it was a delight."

"Nos alojamos aquí pero desayunos, comidas y cenas fueron en Moditlo River Lodge. Las habitaciones eran como tiendas de campaña con su propia entrada de madera y con baño propio e independiente. Están ubicadas en medio de la naturaleza aunque rodeadas por una valla eléctrificada. Las camas disponen de mantas térmicas y en la habitación hay bomba de calor. Personalmente dormí sin hacer uso de ellas (nos alojamos a principios de Junio) y debido a la temperatura exterior al despertar la habitación estaba fría (tener en cuenta para personas que toleran peor el frío). La habitación también dispone de mosquitera y el personal de Moditlo River Lodge se encargó de transportarnos de un lodge a otro muy amablemente, además se ofrecían siempre a acompañarte a las habitaciones para evitar posibles sustos con animales (no ocurrió nada durante nuestra estancia). Realmente recomendable para hacer safaris."

The food is amazing, and en par with anything you might find in 5 star hotels in Gauteng. If you want flash go elsewhere, but if you want old charm with roaring fire places and coffee delivered to your room at sunrise give the coach house a go, you won’t regret it."
