"I really wanted to love this hotel, especially given the price (about $5,000 for a three-night stay), but it simply didn’t live up to expectations. The location and views were spectacular—that was easily the highlight of our stay. The staff was also pleasant and genuinely tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The restaurant had a strange, empty atmosphere, more like a mismatched banquet hall than a place you’d want to dine. The pool was out of service, the gym was dirty, and the room itself was just okay, with an uncomfortable bed that made it hard to sleep. There were also frustrating administrative issues. The hotel charged my credit card for the full stay before I even arrived, and at checkout they were unable to provide an itemized bill. For the amount we paid, I expected a much higher level of quality and attention to detail. The beautiful setting wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience."

"This is my first time staying at this brand of hotel. It is a good budget hotel. There are two floors and no elevator, so I have to live on the first floor. Breakfast is not included. There is boiled water (purified water) available. You can get it at the front desk without having to boil water yourself. There is a Lin’s supermarket near the hotel, about five minutes’ walk away, where we replenished our supplies, including fruits, vegetables, eggs and bottled water."
