Hotel Santa Lucia

The hotel was in a fabulous location 2 minutes walk from the beach - the room was spotless and the staff were friendly and very helpful- this is our 5th time to Amalfi coast and we used to stay in Positano but I feel it’s become so overcrowded and extremely expensive- I would recommend staying in Minori and visiting the busier towns and beaches for one day after all the boat ride is very cheap and takes only 20 minutes

I’m actually reluctant to write a good review as this hotel and Minori are such gems in the Amalfi Coast. We stayed for 5 days B&B in a lovely, bright room with a balcony overlooking Villa Romana. The rooms are traditionally style, the floors tiles are beautiful. It’s a family run hotel and all the staff are wonderfully helpful and attentive. They helped us arrange a car to take us to Pompeii and also called ahead when we went to a restaurant out of of town. Very nice touches. Breakfast was good, the bacon is a treat! We ate in Garum restaurant one night, and had an excellent meal. The solarium on the roof was bliss as we were the only people there. Pool beach towels supplied. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach and into town. Minori is a charming village with lovely restaurants and shops. The beach is great, and not nearly as busy as other towns. I’m so glad we chose here for our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Traditional Italian family hotel, friendly, clean and welcoming. As part of a two centre stay on the Amalfi Coast, Minori is a small fishing village between Amalfi & Maiori with a community vibe and excellent restaurants, beach bars and street market. Reasonable priced hotel restaurant and excellent continental breakfast. Rooms facing the road can be noisy but the double glazed sliding doors allows a good night sleep. Ask for a rear hotel room, but loose out on the balcony. All the amenities, excellent air conditioning and clean but small showrooms. Would stay again.

This is not what I would call 4 star Hotel by any means . Our room faced the road with scooters, cars, motorbikes etc. all speeding along which was relentless - no sleep, fume filled air and very dangerous trying to cross the road. Our bathroom shower door should have been replaced years ago and the room had a very oppressive feel. There is no fridge only a mini bar and if you place your own items in there, you will be charged 5 Euros per day for each item - you are also warned that if you happen to damage the patio door handle, you have to pay 100 Euros . That did not create a welcoming or relaxing feeling at all. The breakfast was extremely poor quality with tinned fruit and watery fruit juices, inedible bacon and items not replenished quickly enough. It was boring and repetitive and as a result we did not dare spend any money in the restaurant. The only plus factors of the Hotel was air conditioning and a rooftop solarium. If you are expecting 4 star quality as you experience in other parts of Europe then think again - we were glad to get home to escape the horrendous traffic noise, have a decent shower and a tasty wholesome breakfast. We are annoyed that we wasted time and money in booking this Hotel - massive mistake.

The design of the hotel (and even the cheapest room) gives you the upscale feeling. Highly impressed with the nice touches, such as imprint of the logos on the towels and little toiletries. Very unusual concept of clothes storage. Ac in the room. Breakfast buffet has lots of varieties to choose from : juices, eggs, bacon, breads, cold cuts, pies, cakes, muffins, croissants, and even an actual honeycomb for pancakes (very impressive). However, housekeeping needs to step up their game in cleaning the bathroom. There were lots of small hair and dirt particles on the toilet and lots of mold on the shower hose and holder. Also, there is a note in the elevator not to bring food into a room (huh?). As long as i pay for the room, i can do whatever i want in there, especially consume some food. There is no outlet in the bathroom. Had to stuggle with my hair styler. And based on some old reviews, I thought this hotel had a hot tub on the roof and private beach access. In reality, it doesn't have either of those. For the beach, they offered 2 seats and an umbrella for 20 euros a day. But the company who runs the beach has nothing to do with the hotel and rent those for the same price to anybody. So why would I get this service thru hotel? You can't even offer a better price for your guests? Especially since the price of the hotel is $200 per night?

This hotel is very nice. It has large clean rooms, outstanding breakfast and dinners as well. The staff were helpful with any questions we had. The location was perfect for hiking as well and touring around. I would be hesitate to book here again.

The hotel was amazing in every way!! We stayed for 4 nights. The location - close to absolutely everything (5 minutes walk away), the town, the seafront, the beach, shops, bars, restaurants. Ferries from the seafront to other towns - frequent and reasonable. Buses also to other towns. The hotel - so beautiful but practical. Very clean and the staff and owners all so lovely!! Lovely communal areas - the bar, seating outside in the terrace and along the street, the rooftop. The rooftop is a hidden gem with amazing views, a hot tub, sun loungers, bar and seating. The room - the bed was comfortable, the air con worked amazing as our stay at the end of September had temperatures up to 28!! We had a balcony and loved it. Lovely bathroom. Minori - would definitely go back and would not stay anywhere else but at Hotel Sant Lucia! So many places to eat and drink in Minori and lots of little shops in the lanes. We visited the Villa Romana, the basilica, the path of the lemons - you can walk to the next town - Maiori, and took the ferry to Amalfi, which was a lot busier. Minori is just the right amount of relaxing with plenty to do!! My best holiday ever

The hotel was in a good location. I was looking for a good price and the Mgr. worked with me. Salvatore Sammarco. He actually took my car to the garage and brought it out for me the next day. Plus rest. was good. Very clean. Good wifi. Quiet. Room was fine. Everything we needed.
