We were weary from travel and warmly welcomed by the staff. They did our laundry, let us collapse and rest. Next day a wonderful breakfast awaited us in the private courtyard. Great location, very secure, wonderful staff. We would stay again!

This is by far one of the most delightful little hotels I have ever stayed in! The personnel is very friendly and help you with whatever issue you have! The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast delicious and to eat on the patio outside. We absolutely loved our stay here!

What a breath of fresh air after travelling the islands. We couldn't quute believe how lucky we were to find this gem. It really did feel like coming home. The staff were attentive, the suitcases (for the first time in Cape Verde) were whisked away before we had even checked in, and again on an early departure the security man was at our door to take our cases down. The hotel is clean, clearly cared for and maintained well. High speed Internet throughout, good breakfast eaten in the courtyard garden. There is a rooftop terrace to sit and relax. All very peaceful, good standard of English by all staff. The staff are clearly treated as family as they all sat together to eat after the guests had finished breakfast. Wish we were staying longer, such an oasis. Thankyou.

I spent one night here, and it was wonderful. My room was comfortable & quiet. Wifi worked great, AC was awesome. The breakfast buffet was huge & delicious. Location is walking distance from lots of restaurants, and attractions. All in all, a great place.

Boutique hotel, small rooms but comfortable. Ensure you get a room at the back of the hotel as the front is on a noisy street. Lovely staff, very helpful with everything inc booking restaurants for evenings. Good breakfast though if you want eggs, delay asking until you are ready for them, the kitchen is too quick / efficient! Departure flights were delayed and as usual, Isobel (the owner) couldn’t have been more helpful letting us stay on a few extra hours. Highly recommended!

Just the loveliest place. Staff and management made this one of the best places we stayed during our trip to Cape Verde, absolutely made the trip. Centre of Mindelo, absolutely fantastic roof terrace (watch the stars!). Both rooms we stayed in were lovely. Great staff, thanks so much, we’ll come back

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The hotel is located in the centre of the city so everything is within walking distance. The room is nicely decorated and the air-conditioning is keeping the heat out. On top is a nice roof terrace with sunbeds. The staff is very helpful and kind. Every morning they have a nice breakfast buffet. We were threated as family and loved to stay there. Johan and Ria

Kira's Boutique Hotel was recommended to me by a friend and it exceeded all my expectations. Isabel Spencer and the entire Kira's team are the epitome of Cape Verdean morabeza (hospitality). They answered all of my email and phone queries in record time, even before I completed my booking, and went above and beyond the call of duty by providing detailed pre-arrival information. I couldn't have asked for a warmer host or a more perfectly located (and well-maintained) perch from which to enjoy the sights and sounds of Mindelo. I recommend Kira's with the highest endorsement and look forward to staying there again in the not too distant future.
