Perhaps because we came via Uji, we had to travel through a very tight single lane mountain road covered in thick foliage, that was meant for dual traffic use. Sun was down early, so by 5pm we were driving through darkness. But this hotel didn't disappoint, service was super good (shoutout to Hashan!), very glad we booked this hotel. For the price, it's totally worth it. Great quality bedding, rooms were clean and modern, views of tea plantation was calm. Breakfast at a service area next door linked by a walkway served perfect Japanese meals for cheaps. Lobby had a coffee machine free for use. Shower water pressure was strong, temperature was easy to control. Really lives up to its name! Oh and, 20 minutes drive away is Iga city, really nice small town with really good food and solid recommendations by this Fairfield!

Unforgettable Hospitality at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro Our recent stay at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro turned into an unforgettable experience—not just because of the beautiful surroundings, but because of the incredible kindness and support shown to us during a very stressful time. Late at night, our car broke down and we found ourselves stranded at a nearby station. My wife was in pain and unable to walk the distance back to the hotel. What could have been a traumatic experience was transformed into one of care and compassion, all thanks to the amazing hotel staff. I would like to extend special thanks to: • Wagasuki, who thoughtfully prepared a wheelchair and personally helped us to our room with great care and attentiveness. • Tenaka, who went far beyond expectations by picking us up from the station in his personal vehicle, showing incredible generosity and selflessness. • Amal, who assisted us the next morning with the wheelchair, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. • Yoshida, who kindly helped us secure a taxi for our return trip, making our departure smooth and worry-free. The entire team exemplified true hospitality, and their empathy and dedication left a deep impression on us. We are sincerely grateful for their support and will always remember their kindness. It’s perfect every time. My 2ndtime. My fav place in kyoto . Lovely mart nearby. Lovely staff . Marriott standard rooms.

The hotel was very clean and spacious. Price was good too. Only downside is you really need a car to access this place. Other than that i was very satisfied with my stay.

Outstanding customer services in Japan. All staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Johnson. Staff were very proactive and professional. Feel welcoming staying here in the hotel and we all enjoy the stay very much. Hardware is also awesome. New, very clean, comfortable room and bedding. Plenty of free parking space in front and just a few steps away from the famous roadside station which serves delicious and signature tea products. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

非常棒的旅館 乾淨 安靜 舒適 雖然附近沒什麼商店但就是一個休息的好地方

事前に調べたので、晩ご飯はホテルに着く前に調達しておきました。ホテル周辺では車で少し走らないと飲食店はありませんでした。 その分、ホテルでゆっくりできたのでよかったです。 スタッフも親切で居心地良いホテルでした。 ありがとうございました。

酒店很乾凈，床和枕頭很舒服，酒店免費提供茶和咖啡。房間也不算小。離開露營基地距離也不遠。值得推薦。下次還會住這個酒店👍

場所は車がないと行けないですが、すごく居心地がいい所です。一泊しかしていないですが、もし京都へ行く機会があれば、また泊まりたいですね。

酒店確實比想象的好，前台比較小，但是房間還不錯，很乾凈很整潔，房間也不算小

酒店的位置有一點偏僻 但就是因為偏僻，所以10分寧靜 酒店10分乾淨因為是2024年才入住 服務非常好 酒店亦沒有太多住客 大堂亦提供飲料廿四小時 建議入住
