there is no more beautiful location as the Sevilla, right on a pristine lake , quiet, no cars or trains to be heard, only a very occasional seagull.The Tacoli Family are charming and professional hosts, the food excellent, with a quite extraordinary wine selection, apparently each one tasted by Count AlexanderTacoli himself-wishing him good health. the service generally was very efficient ,the rooms nicely taken care of, the price all in all very reasonable. two small recommendations-I appreciate that most guests are from german speaking countries, but it would be nice have CNBC, CNN and a BBC news Channel available. and maybe a couple more shelves in the bathroom.but that 's it

What a wonderful stay - from the great receptionist at the entrance, to the lovely room right on the lake (worth the extra for the amazing view), through to the truly wow breakfast. Perfect parking across the way. All round 10.

A beautiful little hotel, family owned with attentive staff, clean classic rooms, in the middle of the village. The food is good, try to have it on the outside if weather permits. Parking is free and on premise. We were given a very nice room with lake view.

Went here for one night in January. It is a very nice old school hotel on the lake. Some rooms have a splendid view of the lake which is amazing. The room was clean and spacious but again I am not a big fan of the 19th century look. They also have a EV charger (Tesla destination) which we used, however it did not charge for the whole night for some reason. Breakfast was very good, however service at the breakfast was not that good due to them lacking staff. Reception service was good. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Hotels with historic charm are becoming harder to find in Austria. The See-Villa is a fine survival. The highlights are its unchanged 1890s exterior, its position right on the lake (with no traffic) and charming old bedrooms - or at least ours was, in a neighbouring villa of the same vintage. It had lovely views across the lake, including from a sweet balcony, and was pretty much unchanged from when it was built, including details such as the windows and doors. Parking is easy and the wifi is good. There is a fine restaurant that did an excellent buffet breakfast and dinner for one of the nights we were there. Our only reservation was that the tables seemed a bit close together. A little disappointingly, the dining areas of the hotel, unlike most of the hotel buildings, have been modernised. The staff were very friendly and helpful including with guidance on the lovely walks you can do around Millstatt, including its collection of fin-de-siècle villas, the ancient cloistered abbey and church, the calvary above the village and fine, well-signposted walks you can do beyond there to Obermillstatt and then further into the mountains above the village.

This is a historic hotel, perfectly situated on the banks of a beautiful alpine See. It is run by a young couple who are present and attentive to the requirements of running a small and prestigious hotel. All aspects of the service were friendly and personal, and you are certainly made to feel welcome here. The hotel is historic, but comfortable, with some beautiful vistas from the dining room, hotel rooms and the Seefront gardens. The lake in peaceful and pristine; amd doesn’t freeze in winter. The hotel is well situated for a variety of activities in both summer and winter, and accessible to Italy and Salzburg. I would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting the region.

Extrem Empfehlenswert Wir waren ein paar Tage im August hier. Was soll ich sagen? Einfach Top. Traum Lage direkt am See. Das Hotel hat so viel Charm. Das Personal von der Rezeption bis zum Restaurant ist ein Traum. Immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr Freundlich. Die Zimmer sind nett und sehr sauber. Auch das Restaurant ist Top. Wir hatten beide einen Fisch. Einfach ein Traum. Alles in allem, sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, am 31. Dezember bis zum 1. Januar in der bezaubernden See-Villa in Millstatt am See zu übernachten. Das Zimmer, das mir zugewiesen wurde, war makellos sauber und äußerst ordentlich. Die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll und bot alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Bett war außerordentlich bequem. Ein Highlight meines Aufenthalts war zweifellos das Frühstück. Eine breite Auswahl an frischen Speisen wurde präsentiert, darunter eine Vielzahl von Brot- und Brötchensorten, Aufschnitt, Käse, frisches Obst und Gebäck. Die Qualität der Zutaten war außergewöhnlich, und alles war liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Vielfalt an hausgemachten Marmeladen und Aufstrichen. Das Personal im Hotel war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Seeufer verleiht ihm einen zusätzlichen Charme. Die Möglichkeit, morgens im hoteleigenen Garten am See entlang zu spazieren und die frische Luft zu genießen, war wirklich erfrischend. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt in der See-Villa eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der nach einer erstklassigen Unterkunft in Millstatt am See sucht. Ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wiederzukommen.
