Hotel Mythos have shown zero compassion for a failed journey. A train journey I was on was cancelled part way through and all travellers were stranded halfway. All further trains were cancelled. No coaches or taxis were available. I emailed the hotel with proof and with a very apologetic message that I was physically unable to make my reservation. I requested some leniency in the situation on account of it being outside of my control, but no: ignoring my email and not responding, they marked me as a no show. I felt this was incredibly rude as a response, not even to reply personally to my email. They could have shown a degree of empathy by offering perhaps 50% from the cost of the room, but chose not to. In situations like this I have seen such kindness from other hotels that this really stands out to me as terrible service.
