Roami at the Carmela

I want to dispute the charge for this hotel. We were NEVER provided the correct door code to enter the building. We had to use a wet floor sign to have entry back inside of the hotel each time we went out. Trying to get someone on the phone was NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. I will NEVER STAY AT A ROAMI AGAIN!

Overall good experience The bathroom was too small. The sofa was a fold out bed that was not comfortable as a sofa. There were no chairs, only the sofa.

Impresionante lugar!

Truly appreciate that it was a full apartment and we were able to cook food and brew coffee on the days we did not feel like spending extra money. Everything you could need was in the apartment. Beach was also super close. Only downside is that parking in this area can be tricky.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. We were traveling with kids, and despite having nowhere else to go at the time, we ended up leaving immediately — that's how bad it was. The photos online are completely misleading. In reality, the hotel is falling apart. The room smelled overwhelmingly of chlorine, to the point that it made our throats and itch. It was honestly unbearable, and I was genuinely concerned about how safe it was for our children to even be there. The furniture was broken, the overall cleanliness was questionable, and the atmosphere felt neglected and unwelcoming. This place is not just disappointing — it’s a health hazard. The owners should be ashamed of what they’re advertising. Avoid this at all costs. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The location was excellent but the noise inside of the unit was a lot. The traffic from the street, constant honking, the extremely loud washer/dryer that sounded like a rocket blasting off, and a he way the voices and foot steps echoed throughout the unit any time anyone was walking up the steps or in the main area made it difficult to find much peace while being here. The unit itself was nice, and if you’re a night owl or don’t mind a lot of excess noise, you’ll love the place!

Our Stay was great, the location is awesome.. the place was decorated nicely, the only problem is the unit is on the 3rd floor stairs only and the smell of the building /unit, it has a old damp smell but it doesn’t overbear once you’ve inside your unit for about 10 minutes.. it needs fresh air, but the overall stay was pretty good I’ll stay again
