"Villa Eden is perfectly located just 20 min drive from Bolzano airport. It’s a 2 hrs direct flight from London Gatwick with Skyalps which makes it a very convenient journey. The ambience truly envisions heaven on Earth with the Lily Pond being my favourite place in the entire hotel, whether it was for a sauna with a view, a morning workout with a personal tutor or just chilling. My Suite was spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and all brand-new state of the art furnishings and facilities. The food quality was top of the top as it all came from their own garden or from local farmers. The service and presentation was like a theatre which made every dinner a fancy experience. SPA treatments surpassed all my expectations as they lasted for 2hrs and included a full body massage with experienced therapists. I came back home with a comprehensive balanced day by day diet by Dr Emanuele di Nobili who did all his best to ensure I keep on eating healthy at home adding all the missing micro-nutrients to my menu. I’m looking forward to come back to Villa Eden next year."

"SuiteSeven is a stunningly beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of the old City of Merano. Each room is a large suite outfitted with exceptional attention to detail. This is where high art architecture and design meets modern technology in a historic setting. Our room included an oversized soaker bath tub, steam equipped shower with light and aroma therapy, two large Samsung televisions in the bedroom and living areas, high end music sound system with I pad controller, electronic controlled privacy shutters to block out sound and light, high speed internet and a great work space. This place has it all. This small hotel has a modern elevator and very quaint dining area with an outdoor balcony and rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served each morning by the gracious on site host. A large scale hotel would have a difficult time trying to match the quality of this establishment. This was my first visit to Merano on my way from Davos to Venice but certainly not my last. The oldest part of the historic district dates back to 850. If you plan to visit Merano in your future this is the place to stay."

"The staff at the hotel and the restaurant are the nicest and most accommodating people I've encountered in over 50 years of traveling. The hotel is charming -- lovely common rooms and dining areas, gardens and nice size pool, not to mention the medieval castle directly above it and the lovely waterfall a 20 minute walk away. The rooms and dining areas (outdoors and in) look out onto the valley below and mountains on the other side, making the 10 minute drive up a windy road with hairpin turns worth the effort. I stayed in Room 220, which was large, with a small sitting area and desk as well as a small balcony. My adult daughter stayed in 215, which was an even nicer small suite. There are only 20 rooms/suites in the hotel. The half board had many gourmet treats and was good value. An a la carte menu was also available. For those with the means, a 12 seat Michelin starred restaurant is on the premises. The chef oversees the other restaurant too. Nearby, there is some nice hiking at about 6000 feet (a gondola ride gets you to the top), very extensive gardens (Trauttmansdorff Castle) and the the town of Merano with a beautiful church) but this is not the heart of the Dolomite hiking paradise."

"El hotel de la casa de pensiones de Verdorfer es muy recomendable. Ahora estamos en el tercer año de la familia de Verdorfer y estamos entusiasmados cada vez. El desayuno es muy rico y siempre fresco, los habitaciones son limpios y todo lo que necesitas, precisamente la vista a Meran es maravilloso. Se recomienda también al desayuno en la hermosa terraza. El área exterior siempre se mantiene, la piscina está cómoda y limpia. Hay suficientes lugares de estar y también pequeñas pergolas que se invitan a permanecer, incluso hay una sauna. La familia Verdorfer y el equipo están muy atentos y están muy atentos a ello. La cocina privada encanta los platos maravillosos a un precio muy agradable, donde se come también en casa. "A friend and I were traveling through the area and happened upon Villa Bavaria online. It seemed nice and affordable and we booked for three nights. We were so lucky to have found it. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was SO GOOD and affordable. I have Celiac disease and have to eat Gluten Free and they accommodated me above and beyond with baskets of gluten free snacks and bread each morning and a slightly modified menu at night. Breakfast was included and was a 5* buffet of fresh fruits, meats and cheese, amazing breads (for the non-Celiacs), cereals, yogurts, etc. Dinner, for 35 Euro was a five course menu and it was incredibly gourmet and beautiful. Honestly, for 35 Euro we didn't have super high expectations and we were blown away. The rooms were impeccable, large and some (mine!) air-conditioned. The views, stunning, the garden gorgeous and both pool areas were lovely. It felt like we were at a private Villa. The location is perfect as well. This hotel is a gem. I really can't say enough good about it. Made our trip!! We will be back!"
