Premier Inn Melton Mowbray

Staff were friendly and helpful. Public areas and guest room/bathroom were spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Due to circumstances we decided to eat dinner at the restaurant with friends, rather than venture into town as were all at the hotel and wanted to catch up before an event rather than wasting time getting to and from another venue (we were all exhausted). While dinner here will never be fine dining, it had a fairly good, if limited, range of basics, and the staff were on the ball about checking allergens listed in ingredients. I would prefer there to be more gluten-free and vegan options, and at least one other non-cow milk option (perhaps coconut), and there was no decaf black tea, but these are minor quibbles. The one point I'd watch out for is that access to the car park is not obvious, and once sat nav has placed you in front of the hotel you still have to spend several more minutes following the parking signs in ever decreasing circles to get to the small car park. Overall the stay was great value for the money, and I'll definitely be checking out Premier Inn in other towns if I need a place for a night or two.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming and there were Easter goodie bags left on the children's beds. They also had a note asking them to look for "Mr Red-Belly" who was hiding in the room and could be returned to reception for a reward. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order too. Would recommend.

Being Gluten Free, I was concerned with having breakfast, I need not have worried, we were greeted by Rhianne who went into great detail and showed us the allergy sheets, the table was then *****ped, cleaned and all replaced. She explained there would be a time difference of our order being served. Chef Trevor gave us a lovely hot breakfast and added an extra hash brown to my plate, he then came out to see if everything was alright. A 5 star service and as we are here visiting relatives, we will return. Well done.

For a family of four staying centrally the hotel was absolutely ideal. Close to amenities, friendly and attentive staff and the room and breakfast was more than we had expected. We were travelling for a funeral so there was an underlying tension during our time in Melton Mowbray but the comfort and convenience of the hotel meant we could focus on family and not on concerns as to our accommodation.

Hotel central to the town, nice and clean room, bed super comfy as always. Staff very friendly and pleasant at check in and breakfast. Great breakfast. Parking behind building be sure to follow signs for it.

I arrived here on Thurs to meet with a friend. From the moment I arrived the staff that worked on the Thursday and the Friday were amazing. Not just helpful and friendly but went completely over and above. The chef (Trevor) made perfect poached eggs.

The hotel is so close to the centre it’s very convenient Becky checked us in and she was very pleasant. Breakfast was very good thank you Jackie and Paul served us all very nice and helpful many thanks see you all soon. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Have stayed at the Melton Mowbary premier inn previously. It is a premier inn, you know what to expect. The staff here are all very friendly and Jackie the breakfast chef is super helpful . Will be back here again.

great customer service from the friendly staff. clean and well looked after rooms and communal parts. we got a good nights sleep with no noise from other residents which was essential for our stay. would come back.
