If you’re already familiar with ATOUR hotels, you don’t need to read this review, you already know how consistently fantastic their hotels are. This location is no exception. For those new to ATOUR: these hotels are known for excellent service at a fair price. Rooms are clean, amenities are well thought out and locations are typically convenient. Simply my favourite hotel chain in this price range and once again, they didn’t disappoint.

Amazing location for touring the Hakka heritage locations. Rooms were spotless with all the necessary modern conveniences to make touring a joy. Laundry facilities were provided at no cost, including laundry detergents. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and helped us with travelling difficulties we were having - all with a smile o their faces. There were many local restaurants in the local area that allowed easy access to local foods eg hakka breakfast like the locals eat. Supermarket just around the corner was a big plus and the Rainbow shopping mall within 15 mins walk was fun. Will be back!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great too. The room was spacious enough for us to celebrate my birthday and the New Year.

Great location, but while we arrive at night. Hard to find taxi to the hotel, even though we agree to pay them a higher fares, as too close to the station.

Check in staffs were friendly and nice. Rooms were stated non smoking but were found smoked when we opened the rooms doors.

This was our first time visiting Meizhou; understand this hotel was opened 6 weeks ago (early Oct). The rooms were good size, beds & pillows were firmed, showers had great water pressure. However, their air conditioning weren’t working so we had to open the windows and curtains — the hotel across had lots of lights and the streets are noisy so we weren’t able to sleep well. We also picked to have buffet breakfasts at the hotel which was supposed to be available from 7 am to 10 am. They were still bringing out foods out at 7:15 am. Selections were ok but coffees made from the coffee machines were not hot enough. Overall happy with our stay of 2 nights.

The service staff are excellent, very nice and helpful. Special thanks the the night manage Mr. Yap. He even offered to drive me to the restaurant when the Didi app could not get me a car. All the staff are caring and detail. ( and also thanks to the two ladies in the morning shift - only got their Chinese name ! And I can’t write Chinese! . They reported I was missing to the police when they found I have not returned from a field trip after dark ,just kidding, they almost did that ! . Swinging by Meizhou from Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the service staff at Atour is world apart ! is this Meizhou city or the Hakka hospitality! Anyway, Atour gave a very personal touch and a different experience from other places I have been to. Keep up the good work, guys. Oh, not the mention I find the ambiance is of the ‘new age’ type ! Really love it. So much that I am now at an Atour hotel at Xiamen.
