"We visited as a family for a short skiing break. The hotel is super clean, and the dining is spectacular. We didn’t go to any other restaurants during our stay: the food is great, staff is attentive and kind, what else does one need on vacation. Where Simon and Franziska came through was when my wife had a knee injury while skiing. They went above and beyond, calling the pharmacy on Sunday to have them open for emergency supplies for us, ensured we had plenty of ice, and even offered to drive us to the pharmacy or to the local doctor if we can’t make it there by ourselves (we traveled without a car rental). They said we could call them any time during the night if there’s an emergency (we didn’t take them up on this generous offer). In short, Simon and Franziska showed genuine care for our well-being. If we are ever in this part of the world again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

"Good meal but expensive. We were spending a couple of days in Meiringen and so had to choose a place to eat. All Swiss restaurants are expensive (for the British) but this place looked ok. We both had the ribs with salads. Quite meaty. The service was efficient."
